I have to say the boogie bombs were a pretty OP item mostly because of the fact that you could hold an insane amount. That way you were pretty much able to annoy many players by never giving them a chance to fight back. In the end Epic probably had good reasons for removing them

I honestly think some of the more broken items encouraged people to diversify their tactics. With the tanks, you can't just go head in and expect to win like with a player, rather distanced shots to the cabin or treads being more rewarding (also anvil rockets). With the Kamehameha, it's a risk and reward due to you being immobile, needing a charge up, and the difficulty of following a moving player (at least for me). With the planes, getting lots of cover was an essential thing to do. Boogie Bombs are one of the ones that don't really give an alternative playstyle, but can still be countered with some well-placed shots afterward. Basically what I'm trying to say is that I actually enjoy having the occasional busted item or vehicle added since it can help spice up and diversify games. The only thing I'm against is keeping the items as broken as they are in competitive modes, the ballers being evidence of that, or like how the goo gun is with its instant-kill.

i completely agree with the first 2, but if a good player had a boogie bomb instead of it being a 30% chance at winning its more like a 2% chance at winning, and cover doesn't help against planes when they can go through buildings

I love the Goo Gun. I've had plenty of people not get one shotted by it since it does multiple explosions of damage. But I also don't have the best aim and don't play in Build Mode, so maybe that's just me. Though I have seen the constant complaining since yesterday with people thinking the Goo Gun is too OP and needs to be nerfed. (Which, Epic, you don't need to Vault everything that's OP. Just adjust it and keep it around, though I guess keeping everything would eventually make it hard to find specific weapons for Dailies/Weeklies) I've only actually found it twice since yesterday, though, so I don't think it's a huge deal as long as you can 't always get the Goo Gun from the RNG every match.

People hate fun, innovative things that allow for more vary games. All they want is more op spammer smgs with 300 DPS that can kill you in one second, but on the other hand Titans, that need a lot of skill to properly aim, unfairly need tons of fuel and do 120 damage max, are OP apparently. People just don't know what balance is. They just complain about stuff that they can't counter due to skill issues and say that those who actually kill them are the ones with skill issues. The Fortnite community is the most embarrassing in gaming.

My way of countering the new gun is just running at people when they hit me with it

Back in chapter 1 season x i only played team rumble because I was bad but I remember my team was about to lose to a single mech then I found a junk rift and destroyed the mech

So I feel like the Explosive Goo Gun is balanced as far as it being challenging to fight against. I've killed sweats and not so sweaty players with it. Its not like an item that is op for only new players or for only sweats to use. I personally love it. Its no different to the boom sniper. Like you don't know how many time I have been exploded trying to res one of my friends. But you don't see anyone talking about that weapon. Which, btw, is op only for people with good aim.

When I first picked up a Goo Gun, I read it as "God Gun" and that honestly isn't too inaccurate

I really didn’t think the tank was that OP. It didn’t do an insane amount of damage by any means, but I will say, the infinite boost was annoying because you couldn’t outrun it.

5:53 in s2 there was a splitscreen glitch where if player 2 left the game as the battle bus started to fly, the camera would lock on to the agency from the north-west side and it even displayed people walking and stuff, but sadly you couldn't turn it around or move it :( I got many wins like that

I almost quit when the mechs were added and then when the around the end of the marvel battle pass it just kept getting uninteresting and only play when I get nostalgia

I loved it I wish that the goo gun is upgraded to a new ammo and is made even more stronger

If you switch the goo gun to another weapon or item the goo gun will automatically reloads I had 3 in my inventory and spammed them by switching to to another gun and then back and forth. I killed 5 players in like 30 seconds. I also destroyed 2 and half buildings.

I'm a little surprised that no one is mentioning the Drum Shotgun, I love that thing but it was kind of busted lol

What if they made a new type of flying vehicle that didn't have a main gun, but instead had 2 side guns with major bloom, essentially a slow and tough plane to essentially rain shots down, but since it wasn't that accurate it would be more area denial than anything

I think decreasing the drop rate and making it only possible to carry 1 is a good fix without making the gun boring by nerfing the damage.

The nimbus and kamkamha is not an op combo because the kamkamha has windup and you can still shoot the person using it

I wonder if the floating pirate ship is a reference to the uncharted movie since the exact same thing happened in the movie.

In the trailer for fortnite chapter 3 season 4, the goo gunner hit a player but its different from inside the game. In the trailer the animation for getting attacked by goo gunner is like getting trapped. but in the game, players can still move around. could this be a hint for a mythic goo gunner ?

There's a glitch with the canons. If u get shot out by a team member then run then slide instantly then u will be stuck with that weapon till u do the process agian

Bring back the busses. The bus was OP, and give the power back to the cars

Now the op combo is: party time aug, shockwave hammer, and the dub. You can just fly forever, since the shockwave hammer gives you low gravity, and the dub will allow you stay in the air with its recoil.

I'm not a fan of the Goo gun. When I got hit by one, the problem for me was that you can't see anything because of how much it covers your screen

I love it when Epic adds new items! It keeps the game fresh, and helps keep the sweats at bay. Not everyone wants to be in a FNCS lobby every time they play.

The Goo Gun sucks, it's cool when you have it but when someone else kills you with it, it's trash.

You apparently had good tacticts unlike the crybabies who kept building endlessly just to get demolished by rockets and then be crybabies online and asking for Brutes to be removed because they were too bad to counter them.

During season X when I was facing a mech I would just spam my matts to block the missiles and this strat legit worked

I love the goo gun I hope they don't disable it

the grapple glove is fun but has one annoying ass feature and that is it is able to latch on to cars which the player can pull themselves on to you 're vehicle and shoot it till it blows up with you in it i had that happen to me a few times and it is annoying
