i just discovered something crazy in the Brazil dub version the scientist is dubbed by Guilherme Briggs, the guy that dubbs Buzz Lightyear and THE ROCK in the movies. so Guilherme Briggs (AKA The Rock's Brazilian voice) dubs the scientist and the foundation. edit: one more fun fact, he also dubs Batman, and he is also a important part of the storyline. one guy dubs 3 of the most important characters in fortnite history.

I mean, nowadays most of the storyline is a bit too complex/ detailed for it to be conveyed purely through emotes and gestures. Try expressing The Foundation's speech at the start of Chapter 3 through emotes and gestures and STILL come across clearly. Plus, most of the characters we see these days aren't affected by the loop.

@@TheEpicGalaxy21 if you read the comics, you would know it’s because certain helmets are made so people can’t get effected by the loop, or you can’t get effected because you’re carrying a portal gun, or you’re just in the extra loop

Fun fact: Mara Junot took over Gina Torres as the voice actor of Ikora during Destiny 2's Forsaken dlc, as well as Nolan North, who took over Nathan Fillion as Cayde-6, who had also been acting partners in a short lived show called Firefly and it's follow-up movie Serenity.

Correct me if I'm wrong on this, but I think Epic managed to get Rhys Darby for the Chapter 2 Season 3 battle pass trailer. Rhys is pretty well known for his work in things like Half Life Alyx as Russell, Nigel in Jumanji and Randall from Infinity Train!

9:25 Grenade, the dub of Fortnite of the rock you just putted wasn't the same actor. One thing is Spanish from Spain and another one is Spanish from Latin America. McRee’s name got changed because at Blizzard (Creaters of Overwatch) there was sexual harassment, one person who was named after McRee was sexually harassing someone and Blizzard said this was not ok and fired The irl McRee and got a new name for the video game McRee, and they named him Cole Cassidy.

If you remember the entire visitor/ scientist tapes from Season X, you would remember he describes the recording as "hasty and primitive". I think that Blanc is the hasty and primitive recording, while McHale is the non-recording version where he can speak without rush. And some people sound different on recordings anyway, myself included. That's my take on the Scientist. EDIT: He also could've aged in the 2 years he (probably) wasn't in the loop

I prefer the Non Serius Scientist since Scientists are Always Serious so to see one that's the Exact opposite is way better (in my opinion)!

I like the scientists new voice because a lot more goofy rather than the season x voices. And I get to run goofy emotes with the smile face for it to make it even better

As a Texan I KNEW there was some kind of southern vibe that Midas gave off! Turns out he shares a voice with one of gaming's most popular cowboys! Fun Fact: Jonsey's original voice actor (OG days in Save The World) used to be the same voice actor for the male Sole Survivor of Fallout 4.

I’m pretty sure the scientist voice was retconned into being the visitor as the same voice actor returned to play the visitor in the new audio logs this season.
