I find it funny how a lot of these problems are related to the community having little to no patience. remember back in most of chapter 1 how usually most changes only happened contained to a certain area of the map and slowly expanded towards the rest? and nobody complained also, heavy snipers, easier to spot now because of the glint, if you get killed by one is because: -you stood still for too long -you're in an open spot for too long -someone just got rewarded by having crazy aim I will admit that the wallbanging is kinda crazy but overall people really need to stop complaining about it so much, it's not like Fortnite is the only game that has a powerful and rewarding 1 shot weapon, but I don't see many game communities complaining about it

I agree I mean if you die most likely it’s your fault as you were just in the open moving like a robot and also yhea the changes did expand think about season 8 of chapter 1 it was just the corner but there were pirate towers also and then the dig sites and vault being excavated and also people are impatient like you said some things to keep in mind are 1. The games not as big so less people work on it and thus updates don’t release as often 2. Look at other games fortnite actually updates fast 3. There is the simple fact that it’s been getting harder and harder to develop the game now I’m no coder but I think it’s obvious that swimming made stuff harder to make so it can work with it then the ai enemies took a lot of time and the disguises but we have sliding and sprinting and mantling as more features now I mean also the map is bigger than chapter 1 and the current one is smaller than the past 2 but still bigger so it’s a lot more area for them to deal with and just new mechanics in general obviously make everything harder to work together I mean that’s probably why it took years to get crouching into stw

The one thing that has been bothering me this season is the new futuristic bikes or whatever because they are very different to steer and you can't jump around and do flips nonstop and overall it's just a major downgrade coming from the dirt bikes last season that were perfect

I only really have one thing I don’t like about season 2 which happened to me in a solo match. I was excited and all for the new locations but after seeing mega city, I thought to myself “Oh… imagine if the final circle is on there…” and sure it enough during a solo game it was Needless to say there were like 8 or 6 people still alive all staying inside the city and it took the final small circle to make everyone move out and it kinda got crazy heh. It’s like tilted towers all over again

That's why I wish Epic hadn't vaulted Storm Mark.

I am gonna be honest. Collabs like Mario and Sonic just wouldn't make sense considering the size of the characters themselves. Samus would make sense, she is almost 6 foot, but based on the custom models I have been seeing from KZreadrs, I don't think I even want them in the game.

Not every collab has had skins so if there was going to be a collab it would be emotes and backblings and probably some pickaxes like the Among us collab, matrix, cobra kai and collabs like that. I mean they could have the characters as backblings.

I like this season because not much changed actually but the Excalibur rifle was fun to use

the matching styled cosmetics for different selectable styles used to be bundled with the selectable style, I miss the last (c2-c3) battle pass format tbh some skins don’t even get good customization like past skins did, like only 1 of 3 strays style colors not being able to apply to his cloak/renegade style and while not as much of a letdown as the colors, the inability to swap between his masks

At the racetrack poi, there is a nitro booster with chonkers already on it. Just a tip.

Glad I listened to the end. This season is fire, and 90% of these issues aren’t even issues. I do agree that the augments are lacking in variety, but that will change as the season does.

I find that the red cars, whatever those new ones are called, do really well off-road. Maybe I've just had good luck with them, though. But there's also one that spawns in with chonkers in every match, so it's usually my go-to. Also I just found out last time I went into a match that the new bikes have boost like the whiplash did. They're really fast both on and off-road when you use it, plus it helps to drive up the side of mountains. It also helps with the challenge of getting air time on them. 😊

My biggest qualm with the Rogue bikes is the handling. No matter the terrain, trying to do a 180 turn is nigh on impossible.

If you drift with the cars, it'll actually go faster, it gives a boost, even in off-road areas. I've tested it out and I've been going top speeds everywhere

People forget that things that change the game completely, they take time. You try and add a first person mode, a wall running mechanic, and hill scramble. All while making the seasons to come, new items, and fixing bugs. Also, don't forget working out Collab's, copyrights, and much more. The day in the life of a big game company is more complicated than you think.

My one complaint is that the Rogue bikes can’t jump & still take just as long to back up as the other bikes.

I had and idea for the odm gear sword ls. They can be reactive and each time you hit something they wear out, or they have a chance of breaking until you pull it out again. The backing could be odm gear instead of being in your back it will also store your sword and replace your blades once your blade were worn out or broken. Just an idea of mine.

They're adding more and more of mega city as the season goes on

Aside from the Katanas, This season can just end and I'd be happy. Well, heres looking forward to next season bringing back the story of whats going on, and maybe EPIC actually bringing back regular cars and Dirt Bikes, along with fixing everything they broke! I'd love to see Graviton Hammers vs Katanas though!

I refuse to believe any of you are so concerned with the plot of FORTNITE that it impacts your opinion of the gameplay lmao

I hope they can make a rethemed scout drone. Its not like they can't also be easily tied to the cyberpunk theme going on.

I played for a long time starting in chapter 1, season 4. But sometime during chapter 2 I took a break, came back for a short time in chapter 3, and kinda forgot about the game. When they came out with chapter 4 I was really happy it felt like the game was taking more elements from the original chapter. But now I just feel like Epic has taken away almost everything that made the game fun again

i do hope they enable hurdling again before the chapter ends

IF anything this feels like ajust a "start of season" hiccup. I'm sure augments and weapons will get fixed as the season goes along. like last time

The few minute of this video shows everyone is impatient

It’s been 5 seasons since zero build first released and they still haven’t made a zero build team rumble. Why does epic seem to be allergic to making Ltms or just any Ltms that aren’t just pure battle royale

The only Complains I have about this season is that: 1 - The Katana or Kinetic Blade do a 2 combo hits in a single basic attack click which make us stuck in the attack animation and leaving us vulnerable and open for the enemy to shoot, same thing with the Dash Attack where we're stuck in the charge before attack animation which also leaves us open for the enemy to attack, my suggestion? for the Basic Attack, let us make only 1 move with a single click and as for the Charge Attack, lessen the time for charging, also, let's not forget a game glitch which made the crosshair of this item disappear randomly. 2 - Next is the Augment related matters, like they need to bring back Bush Warrior, Rift-jector Seat and Soaring Sprints because they're literally life-saving, also, we cannot see the Augments in our loading screen anymore, don't know why Epic making us unable to see what Augments we have but they need to let us see our progress's and Collections again. 3 - Since this season is filled with Snipers, not to mention a first person red-dot scope weapons, I think it's best for us that the Guardian Shield should be Unvaulted and remain for the rest of the current season also since we need it now more than ever, the Shield Bubble is limited and we can only carry 2 of them per-slot while we can keep using the Guardian Shield till the end of a match, not to mention the mobility, the shine that the enemy made before shooting at us using the Heavy Sniper isn't really helping much since it's literally the last thing we see before we ended up back in the Lobby.

The dash should kill the target one hit if the shotgun and sniper can kill you one shot so should a super sword lol

Just a few things: If they would have allowed you to only do 1 hit with the Katana it would be really easy to kill players with a shotgun, or knock them off the map and instantly swap to a different weapon. You can still see what Augments you have, at least on pc, which by default is the 7 button key.

The whole rift and new poi location reminds me of when the alien ships crashed into the different POIs in the live event yet they were all unscathed when we loaded up next season. 😂

I find it upsetting that epic won’t start moving stuff that everyone here still loves to this day, like augments, guidance, mystics, and even poi’s loved by the community. This is why epic is starting to slow down production rates for fear that it would cause more anger in the community and less sales. It may be concerning that epic removes things that most people around the world love but mainly how people can’t do events. This is a main reason why most players are mad at epic they cannot do events because of changes in the day like school, family trips, work, and scheduled appointments. Epic should add a way to do a season again and a way to do the events. Maybe even add the guns back to the game or limited time Collabs for those who had something important to do.

I agree with all of this. I would love to have the hammer and kinetic blade on the map. Those would be some fun battles. And it is funny how you said the matches are taking forever, if you don’t drop into the the Mega City Area you can go half the game before seeing anyone or even hearing a shot. Crazy. I feel like there is so much potential here and maybe we will get some upgrades each week to keep improving it all. See you on the battlefield.

The pulse is not impossible to counter. Start carrying shield grenades. It helps to close the distance on god aim snipers too.

My take on this season: Besides the battle pass, this season looks really bad so far, the sudden vaulting of items loved by the community, nerfing augments, even refraining from explaining the plot! I just think that Epic Games yearns for backlash; they just want to upset the community. I believe that they could have done better instead of putting all their hard work into a half-finished city.

You forgot to mention how broken the slurp juice can be especially in zero build with tactical shield

Season 2 definitely has a lot of issues but considering how much of a sucker I am for futuristic stuff, I'm still excited to see how it'll turn out late into the season when all the mythics, unvaulted items/augments, etc are out.

People are complaining about the rewards tab but remember seasons ago before bonus rewards you spend stars for, there was bonus rewards that award people for doing weekly challenges with cool edit sytles and other stuff so i am glad they brought it back because after season 7 chapter 2, there is no sense of accomplishment for doing challenges.

The only problem I have is the shot registry of this season especially when people are downed you can unload a whole clip and no bullets register

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was thinking Sonic when they added a chili dogs store and then added rail grinding.

There actually is ONE car with chonkers on it. It is at the race track and has a 100% spawn rate.

Its not impossible to offroad with the new cars, sometimes they spawn with chonkers on them at gas stations.

I managed to actually find a drift car with chonkers on in the race track near Mega City, it was really fun to drive

Tbh, the pump should return as its OG form and the Scar was removed and change to soon, I was kinda hoping for another season with no red dot AR's, unless crafting was back in the game, but overall I love this new season, just wish more OG items were unvaulted, buffed, nerfed or... um... just left alone if they were perfect before (cough) grey scar (cough)

I agree on the aot thing, it would be cool if they added more aot characters like Mikasa or Armin. And it would be a lot better if eren had more styles and the pickaxe should be the titan slaying swords. And the ODM gear coming out would be cool. ALSO it would be cool if there was a weapon to turn you into Erens titan or it would turn u into a titan by making your character larger. As a huge aot fan I'm very exited about this and can't wait until it comes out.

yea im expecting when he releases they will probably release a second quest bar for more things cuz, we didn't even get a glider from eren.

There is one drifter car, the racetrack, that has chonkers tires equipped, and boy was it fun.
