Damn, I never bought any of these figures because I don’t care about the game for 2 years now. But it was really fun to see Robo and other people playing with these figures. Sucks that Jazware is losing the license 😕

The joke about him being evil will work even better when Shadow Kit comes out! Please do more Fortnite reviews!

Jazwares was a big surprise company 4 me ,love the figs now the 6 inch license is over I hope they can get a fighting game license that will be awesome 🤩

This design really lends itself to the near seamless articulation

It really does, lovely mechanical goodness.

I don't play fortnite. But I love these action figures. First hearing about the Hasbro license for the scale. Though maybe the brawlers could continue anyway since their not six inch items. Love that kit technically transforms. Kind of reminds me of that rusty vespa transformer squeaks from Transformers the last knight line.

Not a fan of fortnite same as robo, but, damn! Robo got me collecting these!

Another chucklesome review. I agree about the finger articulation being a hindrance to holding weapons, but that's one fun looking figure.

I feel the same as you do Robo about the articulated fingers. At first I thought i was a cool idea, but as the joints start to get loose it changed my perspective of them. I find myself using small rubber bands to help my figures hold their accessories. Awesome review!

Fwoosh did you see Hasbro’s twitter post where they gave an actual date on their Fortnite line? Its called Victory Series (i think) And in the same image is The Foundation (leader of the group the visitor, scientist and paradigm are) he was also voiced by the Rock!

Ooooooooooo, there's an idea, but gotta think there's something already out there.

I originally didn’t give a crap about Fortnite BUT over time, it really grew on me & managing to get the characters in the game oddly became like collecting figures for me.. only slightly better because my area is so heavily scalped that I tend to never be able to find anything outside of eBay or Mercari. Thanks for the review. Grabbed this dude and his Papa. Missed being able to get these guys in the game unfortunately. :(

Robo and his fortnite reviews got me picking these figures up and I don’t play it either!

Another great review as always Robo! Always love your Fortnite reviews 😁 I'm a big fan of the game, it's actually very enjoyable. Usually the people that hate on it do it just because everyone else does it 🙄 I'm worried about Hasbro taking over the 6 inch line, I fear they won't give the same value for money, care or attention to detail that Jazwares do. I also like Jazwares' approach of not revealing anything until just before release, means less waiting around and getting itchy about a long release date.

Haha, I did that and then immediately talked about the slight asymmetry of the legs. Thought about taking it out but...eh....fun!

I'm not big with fortnite but I'll admit, when we saw the promotional pictures of this, I wanted it. ( p.s. I don't say the game sucks. Haven't played it since the toxicity of the community and the whole hackers and predators debacle)

Got my Kit figure last week & it is all types of FUN & a worthwhile addition to my collection & I know nothing about Fortnite ! Posing is weird without a vertical cut shoulder swivel, but is overcome by the added joints - I also had to bend back the rear seat to peg in the torso. The silliness appeals to 8yo me, while the robot bit appeals to 16yo me, and the very aged adult me just rolls his eyes then grabs it to play. PS - your Beef Boss play acting now make me want to add him to my collection too !

It would be interesting to see a photo with Rocket Racoon using it 🤔🤣

I have never played Fortnite, and probably never will, but god bless them and I hope they keep going, even with Hasbro doing the figures soon because where the heck else are you going to get a Murder bear, a fish in a space suit, a girl in a Triceratops onesie, a cowgirl, a muscle cat, a kitten with a Transformer, and of course the demon known only as Beef Boss?

Just found the “shadow” version this morning, which is a black cat driving a more uniform green and orange mech/cycle machine! I’ve never played Fortnite, but dammit, I love cats and I love robots, and that Shadow variant appeals! And to show my age, I _am_ a fan of a beat ‘em up arcade game called _Captain Commando,_ and damn it again, I’m thinking about getting two of these and finding a figure of a baby to replace the cat, as one of the playable characters in _Captain Commando_ is a pacifier-sucking baby genius in a deadly mech suit!

Investing on this figures

I’m neck deep in this line. I’ve customed Joes out of characters, I’ve fallen for all the animal based characters, I’ve got a solid faction of food based villains and a decent selection of sci fi and fantasy dudes. It’s great to just have a line of fun, affordable figures from different genres. Couldn’t care less about the game. I’m in till the end, need that shadow kit, cyclo and the brute. Maybe frost Raven to go with the Nordic guys. Dammit, this is a deep hole.

When is coming the agent peely and midas unboxing?

I’d like to see someone use the lower half of this for a black series clone wars Maul custom

Preternia on Twitter has been doing that with all of his, trying to match up colors and sizes. He's found replacements for quite a few.

I'm not a big fan of the hand and toe hinges. Its hard to hold the weapons and sometimes the feet don't hold up and they fall over. I bought a bunch of these but I'm hoping Hasbro fixes all the problems. Cant wait to see what they have coming. Hope they start off with Mancake.

Hasbro getting the license worries me. I imagine we'll start getting a lot of crossover figures rather than weird and fun ones. Although, I wouldn't mind getting a TROS Finn if this is what it takes for that to happen

As much as epic games - and todd sweeney as a person - disgusts me, I cant help but like some of the fortnite and *all* the Dauntless designs. This being one that I want two of. Keep one as is, and then repaint the second to look like a junkion Claptrap with loader legs. Its one of the designs where I cant help but like it. With Hasbro getting the fortnite license I am hoping Jazwares will end up getting a Dauntless license instead. There are plenty of ways for them to make money off it. With only having generic male and female characters to work they'd be able to pop out remodels of each separate set and then weapon accessories kits on the side. Then there are also the behemoths... In general the designs would appeal to anyone into dinosaurs, monsters, D&D or just cool looking shit that is fairly unique. Also I kinda want to have a Plunderling riding a Skarn or fighting Koshai.

I think Donald Mustard should be the CEO of epic games and not Todd sweeny, also claptrap is in fortnite too, you can equip him as a backbling, other players can pet him and he speaks through the whole game

Where is your 8ball review?

Fortnite...sucks... that Hasbro is taking over. I’m sure they will be making good figures but this was a particular sandbox now it’s just going to be another vehicle for Hasbro to repaint and rerelease their existing product. Yeah they will give us an occasional new mold...but nothing like Jazwares. I got a hot dog guy and a dog guy. I got a hamburger and a fish guy. There are so many crazy designs in that game. The wolf guy. That blob dude. I don’t expect Hasbro to get even close to the variety. No way Hasbro makes Kit. None. Oh well. Kit is an instant buy for me. Nice that the announcement has been made the figures are becoming harder to find. But I will hunt dang nabbit!

So Hasbro: 6 inch McFarlane: 7 inch Jazwares: 4 inch ?
