That’s incorrect The myth is he got a boon from one of the gods and chose to have ability to turn things to gold with a touch. He was warned that such a gift would be more like a curse but didn’t listen. He came to realize just how much of a curse it was when he couldn’t eat or drink anything without it turning to gold and accidentally turned his pet dog into gold. Then his daughter hugged him and turned to gold. After that he asked for a cure to his ability and was told to bathe in a specific river, which he does, and when he returns how everything is back to normal and he no longer has his ability.

The mansion is actually full of Kado's collection. Considering Kado killed Midas by cutting off his hand, it stands to reason he stole the chair. Weird thing is that even in the new timeline, Kado should still be dead and there's no hint of him returning from the underworld alongside Midas.

Actually not yet, next season is suppose to resemble ancient mythological gods such as ares ect, however in a later date yes he could or probably is returning

What if montague got the scar from fighting oscar to let peely free, since he was a member of ghost. Then montague lost his status of the leader of the society and oscar became the new leader because in oscar's track you can hear "im the leader of society, nobody can fire me" so that might mean that montague has some ties to midas, whether it be a friend or family. This also might mean that montague is straying away from the society, and he's pretending to work for the society and is secretly a member of the underground.
