"The loop" was not why we returned to chapter 1. The loop only existed in chapter 1, 2 and 3 and was created by the imagined order with the zero point. If anyone enters the fortnite island, they can't escape. The loop is the canonical reason why battle royale games happen. The storm is also part of the loop. That's why its called the loop. The loop technically doesn't exist on the chapter 4 and 5 island because there is no imagined order anymore.
