You are correct. By wave 4, everyone is within sight of each other. The storms close in much, much faster. And someone please explain how the orange storm circles work. I can’t figure it out.

@@MoneyManHolmes They aren't storm circles, if you're referring to on the map that is. Those are areas in which players who have collected a medallion are. The circles are smaller the more medallions they have. It's a way to balance that the medallions give you a shield syphon.

Was really hoping this would be closer to the chapter 2 reset where we went back to simple mechanics and weapons

That’s the opposite of chapter 2, chapter 2 is where the advanced mechanics first started showing and the loot pool was normal in season 1 but the rest of the chapter was chaotic as hell

@@dustbuster people might get used to the new movement, but that doesn’t mean they’ll like it, especially the players who like to play the game at a faster pace with more action, and combined with the fact the new assault rifles kills people so fast, if you get caught out in the open with no tac sprint it’s just over for you. Speaking of walking who tf is gonna want to walk across the map to get to the circle? You could say “oh but they have vehicles” but not everyone in the game will be able to get a vehicle. Edit: and don’t forget about the shield breaker EMP on vehicles

Strong disagree I and my friends never used loadouts because it made emotes a pain in the **s. Not having to change my emotes on every single loadout if I want to put a new one in my wheel is a godsend for me.

It will say that for hours.... It took 2 hours just for me to get on fortnite... It's ridiculous.

I have a feeling like that giant telescope in one of the pois is gonna be part of the story line and used to locate the cube cradle, ufos, other galaxies/universes and stuff

The Burst with the speed clip attachment is insanely good. An entire clip in like 2 seconds and reload is just as fast

I hate that they removed the whole map from creative I usually go into creative and look around the whole island and now I can’t do that!

One thing that's missing from the video is the sewer / manholes on some POIs that lead you to underground areas! They transport you just like the porta-potties did. Pretty awesome

if you blast it enough, usually with an smg, it will actually stagger the enemy and stop them from swapping weapons or shooting.

If I’m being honest I don’t like the weapon customization certain weapons seem to kill way too fast while others feel like they give health to enemies, the locker UI I absolutely hate it man, it takes me longer to equip what I want but hopefully soon we can choose what versions of the UI we want

I hope in the future they let us customize attachments for rarity weapons before we play the game. So when we pick it up whatever we put on them will have those attachments

I feel like I've seen a lot of these features in other games (Apex Legends). More specifically, the wall climbing, a train on the map, and weapon mods. The only fortnite-esq thing are the bots.

U forgot to mention that the flowberry also heals any teammate right by you

I LOVE that when you favorite a skin preset you no longer save wraps and emotes and music and loading screens. Cause it was really annoying when switching to an older skin I'd have to fix all the emote changes I've done since.

Fortnite was such a nice and simple game. I don't understand why they make it so complex there are thousands of different items now theres a whole new weird coin system there's minibosses now you can even have variated weapons. I think this is massively overkill and keeps people (at least me) from playing the game

i love that the emote wheel is separate from the skin presets because that’s why i never use my old presets anymore

Even though they only changed the animations, movement just feels so slow to me which kinda throws me off. Although the animations do look really good.

Glad to hear you like it. My only complaint is the storm moves so fast and so often that if you land in the wrong area you will spend most of he match running from the storm with very little time to explore or battle.

the wall climbing thing mostly just works on player build walls, cause they have now this new wooden bar in it. just a few other buildings have them on it. and these berrys work also for nearby teammates

regarding the healing and consumables i absolutely LOVE this change

The train heist is so fun. We once had 2 cars chasing us, and like a movie, we shot the wheels off one, which sent it away. The other one got right next to us, and boarded. We had to fight them off. Fun times

My three biggest gripes with the update is the slower movement, the quick ass storm, and the sniper that is capable of dealing over 300 damage headshots.

Pretty helpful, but only bit of information I'm missing is how to get a weapon crate, my current quest is to open 1 of them and even though they are marked on the map I have no idea how to get to them

After one round Weapon mods confuse me but the guns in the pool feel pretty good

The grapple blade looks like it's from cyberpunk
