It'll never be the same honestly. I mean one of the things that made the game fun was also the defults -- which now are extinct. A big part of the game was the stupidity of everyone, and how there were no extreme sweats like there are now. They also forgot the other things that made OG Fortnite OG Fortnite, like the sound design, effects and such. Not to mention to weapons and traps. I think people are misunderstanding what made OG Fortnite special, it wasn't just the map.

This is the real game where console, PC & videogames started to matter me by an increasingly high rate. Though I quit Fortnite 3 years ago. It's still a nostalgic game considering I have memories when I used to play with my friends in Playground mode back in season 4/5 2018 (Chapter 1). It truly makes me feel happy but sad but this game will at least be remembered for around half a century (or maybe forever) since it's one game that made my life entirely onto the world of gaming. Excluding Minecraft that got me into video-games in around 2012, but videogames didn't matter too much for me then.

As an og season 3 Player I can confidently agree This game had me my cousins uncles and enemy’s get together to have some fun in squads duos 50v50 and even the beloved playground mode 🤧🤧🤧🤧 WHYYYY EPIC 🤧 WHY DID YOU REMOVE PLAYGROUND 🤧🤧🤧🤧

That shockwave (grenade here) launcher hits different too, look at the range on that thing at 0:37, pretty sure you can throw a grenade farther these days

The graphics got worse after chapter 1 ended. As well as most textures.

@@replyifyourefumingandcrying The entire atmosphere of the game changed with it and it's making the game too bright and colorful. The old graphics made it perfectly balanced.

I'll play the devil's advocate. They care about the community. While I do prefer older seasons, saying that they don't care about the community is not true at all

The game was awesome back then, getting on with your friends, looking at new weapons, new purchasable items, fun gunplay, a simple map with a special touch you can't quiet describe, actually building forts and enjoying the game knowing there wouldn't be "toxic sweats" some might say, and then it stops. The passion was lost for molding the game. It all reminds me of a quote really. "A tree falls the way it leans. Be careful which way you lean." - The Lorax.

As someone who played from chapter 2 of the OG season, the game became a "Sweat-fest" (as people call it) very early on. Maybe around the time double pump was discovered And well finding out that building a fort isnt that helpful as people can just rush you

@@Monk3y_C While I do kinda agree it wasn't as bad as it is now. And to be honest, it did have a little bit to do with nostalgia, and the memories attached around those moments were people did the rocket rides and traps.

I remember watching this trailer on my xbox and then downloading it in 2017 😔

They did not need to make such fire music

Just got this in my recommended and wow, the nostalgia hits hard 😔

remember when everyone was a default and was trash at building now we are in chapter 3 season 4 and now you can build a tower in 3 secants.

The nostalgia is mad I remember playing this is season 2 me and my friend used to drop tomato town all the time and this was the best time of our friendship now I don’t know where he is I love this game

I miss when the game was like this, please bring it back epic.
