Tanks dear Russell 👍 Be aware that the leather of Fortnight is an animalic Suede ( leather) , I personally love it a lot. Like a flash back , an olfactive memory, It brings me back to my teenage years when I was wearing the first batches of Dior Fahrenheit, Tsar Van Cleef & Arpels, Kouros YSL , Drakkar Noir Guy Laroche...

Hello dear NyangoStarAmerica and welcome back. Thanks,I really appreciate 🙏🏻 After 17 months of maceration, it is now closer to the Parfum version flanker, except the boozy note. Be aware that this one is more mature but I adore it, as I mentioned in my review, it's not a blind buy. But it's a very rich scent, specially after maceration, Renheit by fragrance world that I also purchased is even a better fragrance/ dupe 90% similar to the Parfum version👍🏻

Thanks dear Mario The Mercedes Benz intense is very nice and the petroleum note is there but the leather note is quite discreet, it is a clone of the modern version of Fahrenheit EDT . On The other hand, Fortnight for men is much more animalic or animalistic, the suede (Leather) I hope that you will find a good deal 👍 🙏🏼 So you like Dior Fahrenheit DNA? Did you test the ''le Parfum or the absolute version ?

@@kevinmayers4346 About Mercedes Benz intense, it's not necessarily a body chemistry, could also be a reformulation or a bad batch. I'm quite happy with Fortnight by Maison Alhambra but you need to love the animalistic leather note that go with it 😁

How smell it

Hey Marco, my best scent combination was Fahrenheit Parfum, Initio Side Effect, and Chanel Bleu Parfum. People would literally stop me in the street, follow me in the lounges to smell me haha. Problem is these are expensive to maintain. I love the boozy, rum, sex, animalistic scents with a slight hint of the Chanel Bleu Parfum peaking through. Based on that, what would be your recommendations for clones that I can buy by itself or combine? Thanks for all you do in the fragrance community.

Well according to what you wrote and your exclusive layering 👏 First let me suggest to you some great and affordable alternatives or dupes for those that you mentioned. Ok first alternative for Dior Fahrenheit Parfum of coure is Fortnight by Maison Alhambra (specially if you like the animalic touch and closer to the parfum version but not totally the boozy note is missing !) (But you can also purchase Mercedes Benz intense but the leather note is tone down , it 's a more crowd pleaser and refined take on it , probably inspired by the aqua flanker but personally I find it boring 😁.) Than you have The man Cobalt by Milton & Lloyd which is very nice clone of Fahrenheit too --------------- For decent alternatives to Side effect, you need to go for Collateral Damage by the house of Dua or Purple Effect by Fragrance World. --------------- And for Bleu de Channel Parfum, I have to be less enthusiastic, I never smelled a good alternative to the parfum Flanker! Version ever! So I guess that you need to keep this one lol. Feel free to watch my other reviews 🤠👍

Hi marco i forget to tell about performance of fortnigth i got a new formulación of hitfire the round bottle and i dont know why but yes it change the scent but it still have that old edt dna but a think that thise new formulación have the edp dna to because it feels some what sweet like the modern fahrenheit that came out like 2012 o 2013 that have that petroleam town down well start like that in it finish whit the petroleam in the drydown like the old fórmulas of hitfire that you know but the problem whit hitfire is the performance man smell awsome but it does not last i order a bottle of alhambra fortnite and just let see how it works

Hello dear Manny05drummer, thanks for your interesting informations , so unfortunately hitfire was also reformulated 😭, what a pity , la rive got great cheap dupes ,of course it's not at the level of Maison Alhambra but don't forget they sell it damn cheap. Fortnight will last much longer 😎 (piece of cake), just let it macerate after using normally 20 spritz, than remove the cap for 2 weeks and let it rest and breath in a dark place , after this process ,put the cap back. it will be even better 💪 Feel free to watch my other reviews, specially episode 140 , it's my Top 10 best Maison Alhambra dupes 😉

Hello Carlos YR 69 Fahrenheit by Alexandria Fragrances is just wow and so close to the vintage Fahrenheit edt , it is 90% similar. Or Mercedes Benz intense, very close to the current reformulated version of this Dior Personally I prefer Fortnight 😎 I hope that I was useful , feel free to watch my other reviews 😉

Hi marco, greetings from indonesia. OG Fahrenheit was my teenager memories and I love it so much I have a round bottle La rive hitfire, the scent was good but it least only 2 hrs on me. I've got FW Renheit and out of my expectation, its added with more cinnamony/spices and vanilla sweetness. If I looking for the clone of OG Fahrenheit (NOT Le Parfum version) with better performance than LR hitfire would you reccomend this? Regards.

First thanks for sharing your thoughts , I also wore Fahrenheit in my youth years and adores it , I also got in my collection ''Renheit '' that is indeed a dupe of the parfum version, I reviewed in the past Hitfire by La Rive , the old formula was lasting on my shirt 6 to 7 hours in the cold weather or in Aircon environment (not on skin ) but unfortunately,it was reformulated, the scent is amazing for the price but the lasting is as you mentioned not the best , of course in tropical hot & humid climate like Indonesia , all fragrances evaporates quicker 😭. However if you want an affordable dupe of the actual EDT. version of Dior Fahrenheit , just go for Mercedes Benz intense for Men , that last a reasonable time and is very pleasant. I hope that I was useful, feel free to watch my other reviews and also from my colleague and friend Pinoy Kiwi Scent 😉

@@marco4uperfumes708 for sure, absolutely agreed that MB intense was great but out of my list because it's worth about US$45-50 here in Indo. The fortnight/renheit only for US$15-18, so this is what I called afforable price. TBH price range between 10-25 are the most valueable market here

Hello and welcome Francisco Martinez. As I mentioned in this review it is 80% similar to the old batch released in the end of the 80's(unfortunately the gasoline note is tone down! ) but with a touch of the actual Parfum, because the animalistic and suede note that is very present. 65% close to the actual Fahrenheit le Parfum (after a few months of maceration!) And it is in my opinion only 50% close to the actual version of Dior Fahrenheit EDT. , So if you want a more close and affordable dupe of the modern version of the EDT., go for Mercedes Benz intense( that has the gasoline note!) I hope that I was useful feel free to watch my other reviews 😉.

Got the hitfire today and I like it. I have Benz Intense. They are similar. I can't afford Fahrenheit or don't care to. I love the Benz Intense scent.

Hello Whambamclick 1. Unfortunately, I heard that hitfire by La Rive was reformulated , even the bottle changed from squared to rounded and it lasted only 2 hours (again I can't confirm!) Other than that,I really love the scent of the first batch, it was quite similar to Mercedes Benz intense that is an extraordinary affordable dupe of it .( I recommend this one if you a lover of Fahrenheit EDT.) About fortnight that I owned multiple times, it is not a blind buy because the heavy note of suede (leather ), more a mixt of Fahrenheit le parfum mixt with the EDT. in my opinion it is not a scent for the summer at all but I personally adore it even if it is divisive . So my advice,go for Mercedes Benz intense 😉 I hope that I was useful, feel free to watch my other reviews 🙏🏼

Hello dear Ivan Nikolendzic. In my opinion, if you want that gasoline vibe , go for the Mercedes Benz intense , because in the Fortnight this note is tone down and it's going more on the parfum version , on top of that the MB intense is more fresh and you can use it in the hot summer 🌞⛱️ which is not really the case of the Maison Alhambra !

Hello dear Nicolas Farah. I said in this review 2:09 that the gasoline note is tone down, not absent , tone down compared to the first batches but it's there( as in the reformulated version of Fahrenheit) , it is a great dupe with a touch of the parfum version, much more animalic than the EDT. from Dior ! I prefer the Maison Alhambra version , interpretation and the price is unbeatable for the quality offer. Yes it is a great dupe but again of the first batches of Fahrenheit. If you want a perfect clone of the actual version ( reformulated) , you need to go for Mercedes Benz Intense. I recommend both . Feel free to watch my other reviews 😉

But I can not detect the boosy Rhum note and the leather - suede note in Fortnight is very realistic and a little bit animalistic / animalic, specialy if you let it macerate (after using it and spraying a few times 20x and removing the cap for 2 weeks) Do you like the Dior Fahrenheit DNA? @@manny05drummer a man that love and wears Fahrenheit & clones got quality taste and is very welcome on my channel 👍 Unfortunately many fragrances get reformulated, some for benefits optimization and some because some oils , natural or synthetic gets some skin reactions by a minority of the population! Fortunately Fortnight by Maison Alhambra is there and last decently on a cotton shirt.

Hello Larrie Sigurd, after a few months of maceration it is long lasting, between 5 to 7 hours on my skin And between 9 to 12 hours on my cotton shirts All this depending on the temperature 🌡️, humidity 🥵 ,skin pH , quantity of spray's, maceration,etc...
