Thanks for the recent post. We plan on heading down on the beach this Friday. We were going to go out on Freeman Park a couple of weeks ago but they were only letting previously bought season pass holders out because of the beach erosion. I can see from your post the beach at Ft Fisher has suffered some erosion as well. Love the ARB awning. I usually take a crew of about 6 and it's still a struggle to put up a stand alone awning.

Love Southport and Fort Fisher but I hate snakes!

We’ve been to FT Fisher several times and have always wanted to checkout South Port. My wife would have a hissy driving on the beach😳😁 Looked like a lot of fun. Must have been a week day it wasn’t crowded at all.

Hey! I’m sure the Gold Coast is lovely! We have been stuck in the sand before, take a shovel and be sure to air down the tires!! Go for it!!

Air down every single time and you will be just fine. I drive on the beach a lot in my F250 and it does great. very rarely do I see a 4x4 stuck that has its tired aired down to atleast 18 pounds.

I have a 4x4 Chevy Tahoe z71. Do you think I can make it ?
