The real-time graphical display of each operator/adsr feels like an fm breakthrough to me. This tool is so simple/deep, immediate/satisfying. Your creativity in all the fors devices is so inspiring. Thanks.

I didn't know about these devices until yesterday. I'm looking forward to the next SALE to get most of them. Outstanding work.

Thanks for another amazing synth and thanks for putting the recording up for those of us in inconvenient time zones! Every single Fors device has been such a great addition and something I keep finding myself using over other options.

Love some of these design choices. Clearly you did a lot of comparative research during development. The end result is intuitive and diverse in output despite only being a 2op FM. Excellent stuff.

ALl of this is common knowledge since the dx7 was released and further expanded upon with the mighty TG77-SY77 with multiple feedback paths.

Thanks a lot for this one. I like the way you conceptualize the simplexity of these devices. I also love the music you are creating in the background. Some lovely vibes. I bought this immense instrument around the first of the month and been loving results from very little effort. Thanks

This is very nice to learn FM synthesis foundation because the waves are clearly visualized. Also I love this low key voice, no wired BGM. Much appreciated.

Thanks for posting this, I enjoy hearing about all the design choices. Also... 51:00 had me thinking soft-synths really need synced envelopes times, that would be amazing!

Closest thing in Hardware for me would be Industrial Music Electronics Hertz Donut mk3 (even though it has three Operators). Ofcourse, one has to externally generate all the envelopes, but the way, you can feedback and crossmodulate a small handful ofsine-oscillators is very similar. In the box is much more convenient but there is also something quite explorative to slowly twiddling knobs and faders and just listen while surfing the parameter space… 🥰

Not only is it only well worth your $10 but you can write them if you don't have enough money. The value for $10 is crazy though. i'd rather use this synth over so many others.
