Same. John Lent doesn't play in the band anymore, rumors are Mac won't release vocal albums anymore just the instrumental album in 2023, and chances are he's retiring. I wish I would've gotten into him in the 2010s but I was a poor teenager

From his top 5 Spotify streams alone, he's made $5 million. Subtract his label's take and fees and he keeps the rest. Add to that the countless shows he did and merch/album sales. 20k-80k a show for "2" days, 80k-250k for "Salad Days" days and on. Yes he's rich Hopefully he doesn't lose it all trying to start a label, since that's what happens with every big artist. The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Eminem, now probably Kendrick, Etc. Subtract from his sum the multi million dollar house he bought in LA, the $1,000,000 studio he has in his backyard, the collectible cars+motorcycles. Let's hope he can still afford cigarettes

Ya I found it kinda awkward but there were certain aspect that I really liked about this interview, very simplistic, I enjoyed! Montreal is my home town, I met Mac about a year ago while he was touring, cool guy !
