Thank you sooo much for this. We are all struggling with the shortage, this info is so reassuring. I have a question: We've successfully transitioned from hypoallergenic to partially hydrolyzed proteins. If we have to go back to exclusively hypoallergenic due to supply issues, will we need to do a slow weaning process all over again to transition back to partially hydrolyzed? Or can we do a quick swap back?

I switched from Similac total comfort to Gerber gentle pro... baby would not drink it once I reached 50% new 50% old. She is very picky with taste. I followed your video on how to transition. I am going to try Gerber soothe pro now but it’s next to impossible to find the generic called Complete Comfort anywhere. The shelves at my local stores are literally 80% empty with only ready to feed options or the popular Similac Advance. There is zero enfamil anywhere in my town. I feel like a crazy person checking everyday on all the websites to see who has formula in stock.

Dr. Young, have you done a review on Nan formula (Nestle)? Is it something you recommend? It is the only one available in our area.

I've used NAN PRO 1 bc it's the exact same thing as GERBER GENTLE (not gentle pro, just the one in the 12oz cans you get for WIC). But yeah it was fine and awesome as it's way cheaper for the exact same formula but about half the price.

What European formula is good brand for comparison to earths best gentle I can’t find the earths best anymore

Check out Hipp Comfort. It has a very similar ingredients.

Hi I have a question

For a mainly breastfed baby, is carnation milk formula okay? It would be about 2 bottles a day max, but my grandma has suggested it as that’s what she gave her 3 kids
