I’m going to start my business soon looking to form an LLC in California, I’ve seen on one of your videos that you have partnered up with legalinc . Would they be able to provide tailored needs to form my specific LLC?

I created 3 LLCs in Florida, on the articles of organizations for the two of them. I wrote owned by the parent company “company name” and explained what are the services that it provides. Is that’s the correct way of creating a holding company or is it something else I need to do?

Thanks for putting out such helpful information. I own a SMLLC that is currently not under an S-Corp election. Is there a general amount that a SMLLC should be making in order to be worthwhile making the election? I'm assuming you need to be making at least enough to pay yourself the reasonable salary. If I'm not making enough (yet) to pay myself any certain amount on a regular basis I assume I should stick where I'm at. Thanks in advance.

What about getting an Insurence, maybe one of the sleeps, what is your legal opinion on that? What kind of insurance and such?

Dumb question but when entering in the name of the LLC, do I put LLC there or just the name minus LLC? Hahaa I just don’t want it to be like “NAME LLC, LLC.”

Good morning. I have a KZread channel that I am planning on making into a business. I currently live in New York and planning to move to Florida in October. Should I wait to form the LLC in Florida or do it now in New York. If I do it now in New York am I able to transfer the LLC to Florida in October? Thanks for any help you can give. Also this might be a good topic for a future video for you.

Does that out of state rule apply if your business is online/virtual that does not require physical presence in my current residence state viz Colorado? I am thinking of registering my consulting firm in Wyoming since its right next door to me and it gives me no employer tax since i wont be paying myself any salary and want to keep the money with business for some time.

This hasn’t even premiered yet and I’m already excited to watch it! I already have an LLC in New Mexico but moving to Colorado, so should I dissolve my business here or transfer it as soon as I move?

I have my example name here as Blue Arm Beard Co. That is what my logo name is. it says I can't have more than one operating name on the LLC Form I'm guessing I can't put Company and LLC at the same time. My question is how would I go about that? Should I name my business Blue Arm Beard LLC and DBA Blue Arm Beard Co or should I change the logo design and take Co out of the design? Thank you

If you're your own registered Agent do you put yourself down for the "Entity" or "Individual"?

Hi I’m in California if I form my llc now will I get the full year before I pay the 800 taxes. Or should I wait til January to file my llc to get the full year?

So I submitted the llc and it got approved. It’s a single member LLC . I have heard different things from different people , but on the articles of organization i selected the type as organizer and not member. I have been told that it won’t matter if it’s organizer or member . Is this true? I submitted through the irs by fax because the ein would not go through the automated system. I just don’t want to keep wasting time I was suppose to start over 4 weeks ago

Do some states require that you have a public announcement in local newspapers after you set up business and LLC?

There's nothing inherently wrong with using your own name in your LLC name. That, on it's own, is not going to increase any risks of liability.

Can you be the owner of two LLCs that do business with each other? for example, you own a real estate rental business that rents to your other business (firm of some sort) an office space?

Can I get an EIN for a DBA?

I just want to know.... can I create an LLC in my full name, and then make it look like the company I work for is actually paying my LLC because my paychecks are in my name.....then....use that money to build a holdings of assets (stocks/options) of the company that is paying me to make it look like my income is all going into expenses and therefore 0% in taxes for the washed position. Since the company will then look like it is "in the black" after a couple years, I can then borrow against those assets from a lender to "expand the company," which I will use to purchase appreciable other assets, reducing my expense to the company asset purchase in order to pay the interest on the loan until I am at $1m. I then have my girlfriend open up a company to purchase my company at pennies on the dollar in order to depreciate the value of the $1m, paying off the debt and paying 0% in tax....now my gf holds the $1m in assets for herself as a cost to the company without an cash equivalent, she then sells options against those assets to pay the bills as one expense of the business, and the other expense is a meager $10k to me as an employee, the company will be at 0% taxes on that money since the expenses will equal the income of the asset selling. My 10k in personal funds will only incur a very small SS tax and some other stuff, but that's it, good enough to pay for food, the rest of the bills would be paid for. Is that possible? Just a hypothetical....or something.
