Need more Mugsy stories!

Bogues was incredible. He defied a lot of odds and I'd never take any credit from him but I think he was fortunate to play on a team with really good players with defined roles. He was Charlotte's true PG and leader. Earl Boykins may have been just as good, or better, but he never had the benefit of good chemistry or a defined role. At 5'5," he was more of a shooting guard and pure scorer. I saw him put up 27 points in Denver in a game where he and T-Mac traded buckets. Boykins was a freak of nature he was so gifted. There's no telling what he could have done if he had another half foot/foot of height.

Earl looked for his own shot more and wasn't the defender Mugsy was... Earl was a way better scorer but Mugsy put fear in people's heart because of his Defense...💯 I saw Earl put up 40 in college... Mugsy wasn't doing that...

Idk, I think him being short is what made him so good. I think 6'6 would've turned him into an entirely different player, and maybe he wouldn't have been as good. I think around 5'10 would've been his sweet spot. But for him to play in the NBA at 5'3 and be a guy everyone respects regardless of size, is pretty fucking remarkable.

Dude told Lee Marvin that in the movie Point Blank at least let me get dressed he said.Lee Marvin told him No I want you just the way you are They tussled a bit and Lee Marvin threw him out the window butt naked.Kind of like what Mugsy did to J.R.Reid.J.R. deserved it tho for knocking out A.C.Greens front teeth with a cheap shot elbow.
