Former Gangster Rescued From South Africa’s Most Dangerous Neighbourhood

Ойын-сауық

A few months ago, I released a documentary titled "Inside South Africa’s Most Dangerous Neighbourhood," which delves into the Cape Flats, a hotspot for gang violence in South Africa.
In the documentary, I interviewed high-ranking members of the Americans gang, one of the most powerful gangs in the country. I also spoke with a boy named Solin Roman, one of the gang’s newest recruits and the younger brother of the Americans gang leader, Lee.
At that time, Solin was in a very dark place and became very emotional during our interview. When I released the documentary, many viewers expressed concern for Solin, and I shared their worries about his safety.
Then, I received a message from a man named Daniel Williams, who informed me that he had found Solin and taken him to his rehabilitation centre, where Solin has been living for the past few months. I decided to make the two-hour journey to meet up with him in person to see how he has been doing.

Solin - God has a plan for your life, that is why He used guys like Daniel and team to take you out of your old life and to show you just like he took Paul who persecuted, hated and even murdered Christians to become an apostle. May you have all the strength God's mercy and grace in your life ahead

No one said they dont need education, the boy is already 21, which school can take him, if he even did finish the 12th grade!! The only option is a private college, which would cost a lot of Money, unless you have and can give, l dont think you shoild be judging the way these Man of God are dealing with Him!!! You might deny God, and to you He does not exist, so why are you so bothered if someone is brainwashed to believe in Jesus?? Since to you God is not real, and does not exist, why are you so afraid of a kid being brainwashed about someone you think does not exist!! What if they had told him about Santa clause?? Would you be mad?? No!!! Many kids are brainwashed to believe that Santan is real, why do you not speak against that??? Interview YoungstaCPT and get a deep dive into some areas he is familiar with to get a different perspective. I saw that previous video and Solin really struck chord. I could feel his rage and hurt emanate through my phone. And I felt sad because I saw no hope of a way out for him. A young man’s life lost. I am so glad to see a follow up about him. What a difference a year makes. He looks so different. His face has softened, his gained some weight and his anger is gone. Thanks to your channel and the folks from Sons of God he now has a future. 🙏🏼

Thanks so much for the videos Josh. I'm really touched by them. I haven't been back to South Africa since 2011 and the city where I have been living in the Middle East doesn't have raw and real stories like this. It's sadly cultural here to brush suffering under the mat and not show it because it's considered shameful. I'm so proud of my fellow South Africans and especially the younger generation that is rising up in incredible maturity. Sending you all love and blessings. ❤️
