    Williams cast the die himself and lost. The Governor didn't fail Williams, Williams failed himself at the end. There are millions of kids that have grown up in the same and worse situations as Williams and have chosen different paths. Williams was weak and he showed showed his weakness by never admitting guilt, not debriefing or apologizing for the murders. Not even on his death bed did he apologize to the families.

    Incarceration changed me. It took 2 bids though. My first one I faked it til I made it and was back in within 15 months. 2nd time I took rehabilitation seriously. Haven't been in trouble in 13 years now. People can and do change. Not all, but some.

    Williams cast the die himself and lost. The Governor didn't fail Williams, Williams failed himself at the end. There are millions of kids that have grown up in the same and worse situations as Williams and have chosen different paths. Williams was weak and he showed showed his weakness by never admitting guilt, not debriefing or apologizing for the murders. Not even on his death bed did he apologize to the families.

    If you actually read the court documents, Tookie was railroaded. No evidence outside of witnesses and one was an inmate already 😂. Court Documents said Tookie just started sharing all his deepest feelings plus asked for help with escaping. The leader of the crips asked a stranger in jail for help to escape??? Sounds crazy, not to mention each witness was given immunity 🤨. One thing I know for sure is when them people want you, they'll move mountains to get ya. Idk if he innocent or not, I do know based off the facts of the case he should not have been executed

    Everyone has to be held accountable for their heartless actions!! God has given us free will and we need to make the right choices before we have to answer to God for what we did in life. Very disappointed in the Nobel peace prize nomination in this case. The nominees whole life achievements and complete dedication to mankind and humanity should be what matters, not as something to be used to turn people from the true dark, heartless and evil crime he committed during his time as a free man.     I'm a staunch proponent for the death penalty. However, only in cases of truly heinous crimes where the accused are proven beyond any shadow of doubt to have done it. And I've been locked up twice. So I've seen both sides of the coin. It's not pretty from either viewpoint. That being said, Stanley's sentence should have been commuted to life without parole. The case sure wasn't open and shut, but the evidence was also beyond circumstantial. So yeah, life without parole. The state committed an injustice in my eyes.

I do not condone killing in any form or fashion. My frustration stems from the system and how its intentionally structured not to rehabilitate my people. With all these killings going on in the country, you would think that the government would be able to address it considering the US defense budget for 2020 was $718 billion dollars. It amazes me how they are more concerned about spending money on defense to keep the peace in other countries rather than keeping the peace in their own.
