This is one of my favorite performances EVER! I still watch it when I'm in dire need of fun or energy. Psy is so much more than "just" Gangnam Style. Psy and Suga is a collaboration I didn't know I'd need until it happened.

One of PSY's live outdoor concerts in Seoul had a surprise guest appearance by Suga on this song and the audience went ballistic -- so many ppl there uploaded their video they were recording at the time, and it was hilarious how EVERYONE'S phone images went all berserk the moment Suga appeared because they all stopped focusing on recording and were instead screaming and clapping and jumping in reaction to seeing Suga JK loved the choreo from this video SO MUCH he taught himself it and he'd be constantly doing it on other shoots BTS were doing, or on his own Lives - to the point Suga thought JK was making fun of him instead of just showing love and fan-ing out about it -- and of course JK insisted on performing it when he guested on Suga's SUCHWITA show to promote GOLDEN

I am not Koren have zero connection to Korea but even I know Psy is extremely popular in Korea. Selling out shows, his own company...a legend in his own right . Very much relevant, and I even like a few of his other songs.

That high part is Psy singing 😅 Suga offered this song to Psy (he produced it too and won prizes for it). Initially was just that, but Psy got Suga to participate on the MV and even to dance! There is a video at a concert when Suga made a surprise appearance. It's awesome! The energy from the crowd (it was one of the first concerts after the pandemics) is simply fantastic!

Psy is still very much a thing in Korea. His last concert called "Summer Swag" in July 2022 had about 35K attendees (Suga made a surprise performance singing That That). Psy originally asked Suga to produce the song....then somehow he convinced him to not only rap in the video, but also learn the choreography. Psy is an evil genius lol., Yes it was definitely Psy singing (even the singing part that Yoongi jokingly lip synced) when he had Psy in his arms.

Psy is a proper singer/entertainer in korea for yeeeeeeears before gangnam style and will be for many more years to come. He's not fussed about the market outside of korea. His global hit was a surprise probably most to him cause a lot of his songs are like gangnam style (ie funny music videos and dance moves)

Suga can sing pretty well now he has been taking lessons and can sing pretty high so yet that is him singing.

This is one of my favorite songs with SUGA in it. I think he is a genuinely funny person and this just shows off that side of him. I am one of those that loved Psy the first time around. Some of the kids are even still playing his song at school dances here where I live. This is such a fun song.

Love Agust-D. Thank you for your reaction. I'm 56 and I discovered BTS about 2 years ago, I actually took my autistic daughter to Las Vegas to 2 concerts and we love it. Last year, I'm lucky to live in the Chicago suburbs and I was able to go to one of Suga's concerts D-Day. It was such an experience and I was able to see the quality of artist that he is. The concert was full of energy and emotion. If you can check out some of his live concerts that had been posted by fans, songs like Haegeum, Daechwita & his last song "The Last". You should also react to "The Last" and google the story behind that song, Suga expresses his mental issues (OCD) in this song almost to his suicidal thoughts. The word suicide is not in the song is blocked by a sound.

There's a making of/behind the scenes video where they show the part with the birds flying over - totally serendipitous. They just happened to capture it! I don't think Suga sings on this, but he does have a lovely singing voice, which he worked on a lot more in recent years. Psy is just a really fun guy, can definitely sing, is a natural performer, and the members of BTS all admire and revere him. He helped put Korea on the map for music with that one super viral video & song for Gangnam Style.

2022. He says when in the beginning. Suga produced it. The news came out that he was featured. The news came out he was in the mv. It was really cool. My son loves this song. Psy is singing all the parts. Suga "singing" was just for the mv. And those birds really did fly over. In the making of the mv, they commented on how the birds flew over at the perfect time! lol. I really like Suga's rap too. I think the way it can sound aggressive, how his voice almost screams at some points (i dont know how else to say it) and how versatile he can sound. I love it. Psy never left! He's HUGE over in Korea! Go look up videos of Jungkook doing the that that dance for some laughs. When this song came out JK would do the dance ALL the time to make fun of Yoongi. Suga is a man of many talents. He says his music is evolving and I am amazed at the diverse songs he has created. A beautiful song he features in and produced is "Eight" by the Korean female singer IU. This song's MV is beautifully shot and even includes animation. It's an homage to her friends/fellow idols lost to suicide (there are explanation videos) but it's not a dirge at all, feels very upbeat. IU also worked with V, in a STUNNING MV "Love Wins All" (V co-stars but does not sing), which I would put on top of your list to listen to.

The first song SUGA offered to PSY he didn’t thing suited him but when SUGA offered him this one he jumped on it. SUGA was just going to produce but PSY dragged him into rapping on it then dancing in the mv. There are behind the scenes videos from both their points of view which are fun to watch. They had such a lot of fun together. PSY is an unusual character so it’s worth looking up his life story. After all, ‘PSY’, is short for, ‘Psycho’. He now owns his own agency called P Nation. There’s a lot more to him than, ‘ Gangnam Style’.

Nathan I'm so glad you like this song, too! I've never been a big fan of Psy either (although BTS says that he paved the way for them to come to America, and they respect him a lot). But, this song is so catchy and the music video is so funny, that it became one of my favorites. My little son and I listen to it at home almost every day, and he loves singing and dancing along. SUGA does sing now--more than he used to. When he was preparing his D-Day album and tour, he said that his concert might seem boring if all he did was rap, so he learned to sing, play piano and play guitar to be able to perform a variety of song styles during his solo concert. All the BTS members keep learning new skills and growing as artists. They work so hard and are truly inspirational. And if you're curious to learn more about SUGA, I recommend the documentary about how he made his D-Day album. It's on Disney Plus, and it's called "SUGA: Road to D-Day."
