Can these be combined? For example, if I add an asterisk and and an underscore, will the text be bold and in italics? Are other fonts (besides monotext) available with this method? Thank you again!

No other fonts that I am aware of - yes. bold and underlined *should* work as well.

This only works on the other end if they are also using messenger through the browser. It doesn't not cross translate to your phone or the messenger app

No, only you need to be on a browser. It doesn't matter how they access - once the messages are sent, they are sent from the Messenger system and the recipient will get it. If you aren' t friends, it might be on their "other" folder, but they will get it.

@Ed Akehurst yes they recieve it, but the formatted text, at least from PC to Android, doesn't translate. It shows on phone the full text, rather than it being bold, italic etc. At least, this is my experience with it.

​@@DJ-jp3ye There is no bold, italics, etc as an option - it is text only, and it sends and appears exactly as typed, based on the variables of the segments within the groups.

correct - it's a chrome extension - works only in chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave, etc.) - not in the app
