This feels less like planet formation and more like star formation. Especially when you see this part 18:09 So much volatile motion on the surface AND in the core, so that all it took was a minor collision to make it explode. Reminds me of a star. They're in such a delicate balance.

For anyone wanting to do this then here’s how First open the material editor To open the material editor you need to first spawn in a atom then use the select tool then click on it then click in the name at the top of the node editor and there you go And second Set cpow to 50 or close to it Set damp to 0.0063 (this is the most important part) Set gravity to 1 Set idamp to 0.05 Set sangle to 200 Set maxValent to 8

This looks super cool. My assumption for the behavior of the 'planets' would be that, based on the view that we had there's a sort of reverberation in the body when a collision occurs (I think it acts as some sort of momentum multiplier for particles), and I am guessing that interaction with the "damping" mechanic (maybe you have damping turned down?) in the sim causes there to be a point where the 'planet' as you said is no longer stable... I am obviously no scientist but this had me thinking/wondering. I am interested on other's thoughts.

Whh this is happening? Here: once the atoms in the core get so compressed, that thir force that keeps atoms from going into one another significant enough. It fails, and thus cause a lot of force to happen once it goes too far in. And this happens per atom that's inside of one another. To the point so much energy and force is made, it exploads. Thus backhoes is impossible in this Sim. Unless all matter somehow combines in a way the force is counted by gravity. Which itself Can cause atoms to overshoot and fly out with a lot of force.

*@Spike Viper* I think 18:10 is caused by your change at: 3:59 Please try this simulation again, but at less extreme settings (at least near the end) (I would also like to see a universe be started by the most *EXTREME!!!!* fusion explosion you can create, to cause the initial rip apart of the starting material, instead of rotation) (preferably do a "training video" first, on how to cause the most extreme explosions)

Explosions are caused by the gravity pulling the particles together then the collisions speed the particles up fast enough to escape the gravity

6:12 these formations actually were caused by you. At the start you rotated the inner material a second time which increased it's speed and caused it to impact the slower outer material. you can already see the start of the formation of this ring of overdenisty just after you do it.
