When this game first hit Steam it was literally (in the dictionary sense of the word) unplayable and was a real mess. It was dead in the water before it had a chance.

I still play this game with my one buddy but I feel we need so much more still but they did do some work so far

Game will not succeed devs taking way to long to fix game breaking bugs I used to support them but not anymore

just like most open world survival games the idea is always so inviting and exciting yet its execution makes you wish you were executed for expecting something good

@@fegeeegeg 7 days to die with the darkness falls mod. I realize I'm suggesting another endless alpha with an experimental total conversion mod so there might be... issues. But it's seriously the most fun I've had with a zombie game in years.

I remember being excited for this game when the teaser trailers first came out, and eventually forgot it even existed

I love the cautious skepticism, but actually plays well. I backed the game when I saw FRANKIEonPC alpha test it. Reinstalling it now after watching this to see how its come along.

I love that you're just playing games you feel like playing. It's really cool to see this game get highlighted, I think it deserves attention. I think with a bit more time it could be one of the best zombie sims out there. Thanks Kotton!

I don't know how you guys feel when this game released 4 years ago but in 2021 I first saw this game of Mad Vlad and I instantly buy it. For survival lovers, especcially zombie game lovers should try this game. It's has it own unique from other zombie games like SoD 2 or 7dtd. It's a dead game? Nope, cause devs still update it 2-3 months per patches, it still buggy cause this is their first game and the team only has 6 members. It's taking slow time to have a big big update change but I'm sure that devs still not throwing their game into the trash bin. I'm 800+ hours in this game and 2 years later i jump back into the game. It's still really amazing and exciting for sure. Very underrated game tbh

I think Survive the Night had a unique opportunity to turn into a great coop experience. The prison gameplay shows hints on how that would play out. You'd repair and reconnect old industry and perhaps find a way off the island (and to another scenario, e.g. a harbor city). The larger the island and the more difficult the scenario, the more players would compete there to find a way out. This is not a community-driven project though. If you phrase something wrongly the developers just serve you with a lifelong ban on their steam forum. As has happened to me. I would say: either show a vision for your game, or engage with your community, but don't silence them and don't deal out lifelong bans on the first incursion.

It was years ago but he made a joke in a video once where he's like All my fans girlfriends are like "I dont like Kotton'" in a bitchy voice and me and my girlfriend both cracked up because it was spot on. We still say "I dont like Kotton" in that bitchy voice to each other whenever I watch his videos.

Man this game is actually underrated. Had this on my radar until it's bad release. Where's this game gone? It's actually playable now. Would love to see more of this game from you 💪🏼

I know when it got announced and some time later the release it was really a big big dissapointment when nothing of the Promised features or anything else was there.

Yeah I played it like 5 - 6 years ago when it first tried to launch and died in a day

that's not how it works lol. Adding PVP won't help. Also pvp is already in the game and it's still dead and boring.

i remmembr being hyped back in the day but then it released and most reviews were negative so i never bothered ... not even black flag sailors bothered with this game so i never got to even try it

Was hyped when they where doing the kickstarter but now 6 years later they are finally on dayz levels. FrankieonPC promoted this trash and it got speed because of it. Was poo from the beginning

If I had a dollar for every Unity asset flip survival game that failed 5 years ago I might have enough money to waste on this pos.

This game has the content but it's gameplay is WAY too easy so the choice not to focus on pvp and harder pve survival mechanics killed its chances of ever gathering a larger audience.
