The Mountain Bay State Trail goes right 'over' Boduel, but you have to back track on side streets from the trail to get into Bonduel. Some bike rider from Chicago asked me why there's no direct access from the trail to Bonduel. I said, "Because the nice people of Bonduel don't want people from Chicago bringing Chicago to Bonduel."

I will be visiting Bonduel this summer, thanks to your video. Love them all and also love Wisconsin!
Sally and Marty are great historians. Takes a lot of effort and time to do such great videos. And, to do such terrific commentating is a very difficult and very unique talent. Good work, Sally

Thank you!!!! ☺️
I have family from Bonduel and Shawano -- thanks so much for covering these towns.
Thank you for a great video. My wife and I used to pass through Bonduel quite often one summer, years ago. We would sometimes stop and have a meal on our way back to Kenosha and one of the locals politely informed us that the town name was pronounced Bon Dool.
Another excellent walk-through tour of a wonderful small town!👍 Thank you Sally & Marty. Very enjoyable (as always)! 😀
Marty's little car is a Vette a chevette. Nice story and town as always Hope you guys stay safe and well. Maybe it closed but there used to be a Supper club in Bonduel that was pretty good.

Its a Chevy Chevette and thanks for another cool video 🐾 and the Caddy was a 59
Went through Bonduel often on the way up to Cecil for summer vacations in the 50's and 60's
I grew up in Bonduel - my grandparents owned Wayne's Place when it was still known as 3rd Generation. It's nice to see your appreciation for our little town ❤
"Sightseeing Sally" - Sounds like a good name for a song!
Entertaining video. The local history aspect which is the mainstay of your videos makes this unique. It is a lot more work but makes your channel unique. Thanks.
Right down the road from Shawano where I live. I stop at Kwik Trip in Bonduel often
We pass through Bonduel on the way up north to the parents. Very cute town.
Beautiful Knobs - Loose Women and weirdos WoW!!! what a show. I have to find my way back to your country (state) someday The fishing was always the best and there are a ton of smiles, just like you guys have. We look forward to all of it.

Some years ago my sister lived east of c on highway 29 where there used to be a creamery on what was called Blake’s hill. I spent a lot of time there and this was so interesting. Thanks for sharing all your travels Sally🙂
Indian Walleye spearing festival and fish fry is a spring culinary cultural event out there in the northeast Wisconsin zone
I go to Doc's Harley Davidson All the time!
Hi Guys : Lots of history in that small town, That antique mall is a real time capsule. ☺Good job and Thanks for sharing. Lynn & Steve
You sure had me laughing with the "loose women" comment, and how you had a hard time letting that one go. You tow aren't weird, you're the perfect couple who fits together like a glove. As always, the tours are excellent.😅😆👍👍👍👍👍
Looks like a chey chevette or we used to call them shoveits.

The little car next to the old Ferd pickup is a Chevy Chevette. I had one in high school as well, an '81
Loved this! *Thank you for sharing!* 🙂👍
Oh God never let Marty find out Hudson Wisconsin has a fairly good antique store, but Hudson was a lumber town, that also housed a railroad boxcar repair depot. But across the St Croix river is Stillwater, the Greatest antique mecca and Minnesota's oldest town/city. Including the prison (that's now a high end condo complex. Love your doing Americana midwest. 🤙🤙🤙🥰

Great tour of Bonduel. Making our list of places to visit this Summer, and Bonduel looks interesting enough to make the list.
Interesting place. Good to see you hitting new places
Every time someone guesses chevy chevette i see a "translate to English"notation. But when i tap on it, it shows the same thing. Hahaha 😮

Another fine town to check out on Google Earth. Thanks for the fun tour Sally and Marty! PS, for even better results, sit on waxpaper! 18:39 😉 🤠👍
Loved this video. Since we live in Pulaski, we frequent Bonduel all the time...Hungry Bear, Red Rooster, and Da Ess! FYI...we miss the fudge we used to get in Crivitz.
Loved watching this since I am an graduate of Bonduel High School.
Thanks Sally. Good stuff.
My shop/garage is not pepto pink but somebody painted it barney purple. One of these days we might paint it.
Really enjoy the local history of the places you go.

Mayville also has a swimming place surrounded by sand.
Looks like a 1979 Chevette. I had one also. Actually really liked that car.

we lived in Bonduel 1983-84. I was working at a bank in Shawano while my wife was stuck in our duplex (newer, thank God) during a pretty rough winter. She would call me about 11 am complaining she had nothing to do; I suggested she bound up our daughter, put her on the sled and walk to downtown. My mistake as she had already done it-took about an hour tops and she was not a happy camper 🙄🙄
Have you ever done Land o: Lakes, in Vilas County? My family used to vacation up on Big Portage Lake near there in the summers where my grandfather had built a number of cottages. Originally they were going to use the place as a summer camp for under privileged kids - they called it Camp Indian Dog but the buy who was supposed to secure the kids for them spent all their money and never came up with any kids. So they just used it for a vacation site for the family and rented some of the cabins out to friends during the summers and hunting season.
Nice slide Sally ! Lot there to see ! That car ? Good question ? Been thinking ? Might be a Chevy ! Love Chevy ?
Antler's Supper Club has great food!
Sight Seeing Sally and Hearty Marty. You should try some bison burgers. Great taste and healthier than beef. I'd like to see Sally's tattoos.
Up until a year maybe 2 or 3 West Bend wi had a swimming hole like that. They recently closed it.
Those coming down to WI probably come to get warm. Those houses had nice front porches. Sit out there in the summer with a jug of beer, radio with the ball game on and chat with the passers by. Some even shared their beer, or so I hear.
...so... what exactly did you buy at Lawrenz's Sausage Shop ?? It's a fun part that you skipped, thinking we wouldn't notice. Otherwise, as usual, your excursions are fun to watch (except when you don't show us what you bought at the sausage shop). 🙂 The car @ 10:13 A Chevette?
Don’t forget to see Two Rivers, Wi. I was traveling with my boyfriend at the time with water tower painters. It’s north of Manitowac. Lots of history in both of those towns. Manitowac has a submarine (museum) that you can go on.

hatfield is at northern wi,its a big happening lil town in the summertime, fishermen but when it comes to winter the town is a ghost town
There was a period when German craftsmen would join wood floors tightly and paint without smearing things. Amazing work. . In fact every immigrant group had some slightly different strong points and weak points. It would be nice if Marty expounded on that.
Have you ever been to the 'ye old oak bar' in Menominee, MI? It is either Marinette or Menomonee.
I won't touch the "knobs" reference in your home😅 but I'd have liked a little perusal of the selection of the fine cuisine offered at Lawrenze's. 🤤
Martys car might be an Hillman Avenger…
The car was a Chevette. Mine was a 4 door.
Would love for you to head over to NW Wisconsin, the "Indianhead" part of the State. I have lived here all my life in a little town called Frederic. There are many small towns in this area that have interesting histories.

Chevy citation
That gold Cadillac reminds me of when I saw a pristine black 1950s Cadillac Eldorado in the shoping center in Seal Beach, California in the early 1970s. That thing looked brand new, but then I still remember my neighbor Mr Nichols from when I was barely three years old in early 1957. Mr Nichols had a seriously oxidized dark blue 1938 Pontiac four door with the teardrop headlights. I can still see that car sitting in his driveway in Quito, Califronia like it was yesterday. Here in Phoenix there is amost nothing as old as that merchantile you featured today, anything from the early 1960s is a rarity around these parts. Hang in there Marty, hope your feeling better already. Sally and Marty take care, it was fun seeing something different than Phoenix, trust me.

Ya can’t help but feel for all the indigenous people that were moved out of their homeland because one group granted Their land to another group… Nobody likes to even acknowledge this … I still find it sad in so many ways. I would have loved to see the vast forests before they were cleared out
Stop being negatory Marty.
