    @@xZr993 he did act it up for people to keep buying but it wasn’t about the quality of product. It was about people wanting see his reaction which obv he enjoyed making money and also seeing him work on something he made, like art in a way. But other than that he just made a bunch of money and thats more than everyone watching this vid is doing so respect to him

    If you do this again (perhaps a different product), individually stamp each item with the price it sold for. Getting the exact item that was built by you for the price agreed upon would probably motivate more people to purchase.

    @@Soeck stamping numbers on products is pretty common so he'll have plenty use for the stamps. The main issue comes in keeping track of each individual order and sending the right product to the right person.

    I haven't watched the video yet, but tbf Jamie probably didn't have to watch the whole stream since the stream camera was on a tripod somewhat far from the action, while Jamie was shooting handheld much closer to Alec (and later, when Jamie had gone home already, iirc, Alec placed the camera that was recording this video on a tripod but closer to him, but I might be remembering something that didn't actually happen). And if there are in fact any scenes here from the stream (again, I haven't started watching this video just yet, so idk if there are any), he didn't have to watch the whole thing, instead he could just look up the hour something happened in the handheld recording and then look it up on the stream.

    it's why i am considering unsubscribing. the content has just been getting more and more about money and advertising recently, like that one video that was basically just an entire advertisement for some knife or something, on top of having sponsorship ads at the beginning and end of the video. i am glad the dude is doing well for himself, but i liked when he was doing new challenges and expanding his repertoire rather than making bottle openers

    This guy just sold BOTTLE OPENERS, for a VIDEO, not a charity event or fund raiser, literally just making a video that was basically one long commercial for Square Space, and while I can't decide what people do with their money, buying a $500 bottle opener that's just a small piece of hand forged metal that took 5 minutes is insane. This guy just made $7,480.01 selling small bottle openers... During one live stream... wtf... AND !!! This is all on top of the SquareSpace sponsorship AND youtube ad revenue AND possible bits/donations during the livesteam.

I'm working in restauration aswell, and I'm not mad at his success. I'd never be able to work all day while simultaneously building up a fanbase.
