All of the explanations were awesome. I really like when someone explains how they fixed an "unplanned" feature on something they're working on. Nothing of consequence is easy. Your narrative was spot on. I would love to see a cleaver being made. Lots of surface area and not many videos making one.

Man I've been so busy the last few months that I haven't been on KZread much at all. So i figured I'd go on your channel and scroll back to see what I've missed....and it's a hell of a lot. KZread didn't show me having watched this one, even though it looked familiar. So I started watching it. Many times I'd hear you say something or see how you did something and would think,,,yeah I'm pretty sure I've seen it. But not being a 100% sure, I kept going. And the when you started drilling the holes for the lineup pins on the wrong side of the guard, I KNEW without a doubt I had seen it. Lol I still finished it though and it's just as gorgeous this go round.

I use my angle grinder a lot also to save my belts. Belts can be expensive compared to flaps. I'm seeing more and more Smiths using surface grinders, it seems like a accurate way to make sure the knife sides are exactly level. Dang! That's a beautiful knife!!
