Gorgeous and functional. Can't ask for anything more from a winner's weapon.
That Damascus hammer was beautiful! Well done Craig!
It seems a bit iffy to test a one-handed weapon almost exclusively with two-handed strikes. This could've given a certain bias towards Jeff overly long and heavy hammer, but fortunately Craig still pulled it out with his more faithful and accurate piece.

They were attempting to simulate a practiced hand so to speak, so by using two hands it got closer to the amount of punishment a truly practiced hand would done. Craig made the better piece hands down!

@@RegazozoGaming But Jeff certainly did a better job in combat use, look at that internal damage.
I thing Jeff's WH was just too long. Of course it could generate more force two handed as he had what looks like 10 extra inches on the handle. That, as mentioned by the one judge, made it unwieldy for one handed use. His handle also looked unfinished compared to the other.
It’s a shame that this channel hardly gets any views.
The length wasn't the only issue with Jeff's hammer... those steel strips were a sign of iffy design decisions and would have started to seed doubt about the rest. Holding heavy steel decoration on the impact side with upholstery tacks? I'm surprised they didn't launch themselves off sooner. Only way to keep them on would have been to make long rivets and attach them to each other through the handle.

Wouldn't that have made for additional stress on the handle? I'd see that splitting down the middle if he tried it, be better if he'd held off all together.

@@andrewcarlson4402 Absolutely. Wood wants to bent and reverberate.
Most respectful show ever 👏
I like the ChristControl Instrumental playing in the background.
The contestants were supposed to be building a one-handed weapon, yet they were not tested as such. All the tests used two hands. Jeff's weapon was clearly a two-handed weapon.

they probably changed it to test them more evenly. the losers weapon was a good 8-10 inches longer than the winners, you could hardly call it a one handed weapon

Look at 0:38, the one handed warhammer for mounted knight can be as long as 1 meter or more.
Doug loved the balance of that blade
i feel there was a missed opportunity with the ram hammer by not having those long horns be the langets.
nice episode
they should do fantasy warhammers and bring on stunt men to swing the big suckers
At least there ain’t no blade to sharpen.
more warhammer stuff and more outdoor
i always watch evry episode, i also a new blacksmith..
Nice, I love hammers
Going through the first kill test, notice his hesitation when he said "this will definitely kill" ?
Technically craigs hammer didn't make a cut either! Haha :p
Both were good but I can see Craig's hammer was a bit better built and was actually 1 handed.
"And has lent its name to the popular *boardgame* Warhammer" Boardgame?
Board game!? BOARD GAME!?
BELL GANG WHERE YOU AT PEOPLE?! WE GOTTA KNOW IF IT WILL KEEEELLLL
They should bring back Ilya to compete against one of the judges.

Yeah ,I am 900's who like this video 😂
One made a two handed hammer one made s one handed hammer. Feels a little unfair from the get go.
I have my concerns about the legitimacy of this channel but if it's devoted to one show, why show abbreviated episodes?

Networks don’t really like giving away entire episodes for free
Since FIF got it's own channel they give us even less content in the videos...i dont like the new editor

New channel who dis
Craig built a hammer any warrior would be proud to own. Deadly, simple, and effective. That other hammer was just a decorative showpiece all but useless in combat.
Is this the real channel or its fake 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Eh wrong person won this one.

Not a fan of this edit, a lot was cut and it just felt... Flat And the "weapon will keel" was also flat too.. It just felt flat and sad
แค่มาเม้น
Yeah knew this was going to be a bad one when they identified the weapon from the hobbit as a Warhammer when it's actually a mattock just designed to look cooler than it really is
