Yea I like a breaking or chipped edge. I like the competitions where either weapon would have won most episodes. Both were beautiful swords. I liked the look of the losing sword. The sword that lost was described as heavy and having a bit of a rough handle. Those two items would not seem to be something that would impede a viking warrior. I should also like to mention the losing sword seemed to do more damage to the bones in the ballistics gel. On slow motion the winning sword seemed to have more flex. I personally would think a viking warrior would be very big and strong and the thicker more crushing sword would be more accurate. I would have loved to see the swords bashed into a battle helmet!

When it literally only comes down to that one handle as some slight finishing problems and therefore bites a bit, it shows how good the weapon is.

@@daniel96jg I think they have to take into account what they are using though, Its meant to be a barbarian sword, comfort was the lowest concern for barbarians. And no one mentioned how Ethan's sword tore the pelt a little bit on the final swing on the sharpness test. It seemed like a complete draw to me since Doug said nothing about it and everyone's hands are different.

I have never seen the judges so happy swinging a sword. They start off professional and look like a kid with their favorite new toy by the end of it. Must be beautiful to hold and manuver.

You dont see both blades passing all the tests with A mark very often. Incredible

I know this is an old comment but they cut out a part the loser was named first and the judge said "i don't want to say you didn't make the cut" and "your opponent won you didn't lose"

What craftsmanship! Both swords were impressive.

This is by far one of my favorite features I wish I had one of those swords

I like the judges they have now, they’re honest and fair and always have something positive to say about the weapon. In this particular one BOTH swords were really good but you could see that one one guys sword was just that much more crispy and well put that it won him the championship. Good show mate.

Nice to finally see this episode rundown, I shoulda came looking for it sooner. I’ve been curious for some months now what kinda works Ethan is making in that building of his. Very impressive work!

I have never seen an episode where neither weapon had zero damage or flaw from any test!! The deciding factor was comfort... awesome!!

Just being able to hear that “It will kiieel “ has to be a win even if they lose.

Love how the blacksmiths always look blown away by the others work!

He was extra impressed with the blade, so he added a little extra to the word keel

is no one going to say how everyone was so happy from the beginning? I mean look at 0:19 he looks so happy to test these swords.

When it comes down to small details like that, neither of them lost

Hate that they edited out part of the judge's decision, saw this episode and they were all ecstatic about both swords, even told the guy he couldn't bring himself to say his sword couldnt make the cut. Such a great pair of competitors!

I think I read a comment from the person who won this episode said Will wasn't kidding when he stated that it wasn't an easy decision - they deliberated for hours. Even Will basically said he wanted the runner-up's sword.

Closet episode I've seen I think , both blades equally as amazing
