Dont buy it!

Organic delivery. nice.

The same forge kit fits perfectly under the bonnet (hood) of my R32, no issues whatsoever. In fact it doesn't even come close to touching. looks, sounds and performs beautifully. Don't know how and why you're having so many problems

@@vwempire8459 Before and after dyno on mine it lost 8 hp at the wheels went on eBay the following day, unless these mods are dyno tested before and after its all guess work.

I installed it in a VW 2009 Passat CC VR6 Sports FWD. It is not a perfect fit. One needs to shorten the tubing length and also extend the MAF cable. Thirdly, the intake width is short and does not cover the intake width. So only one screw is used and the other end inserted into the casing and forced inside a bit. Have it installed professionally. The quality is good and functionality is designd to enhance the airflow without creating alot of noise or whoosh/whistling sound. The exhaust does tend to sound a little louder and deeper. The acceleration and response is better. The difference is easily felt and gives a nice feeling.

Does the passat have that noise tube going into the firewall too? I'm looking at getting a similar kit for my R36. what is the purpose of the noise tube? to hear the induction noise in the cabin??

Considering you're not happy with the Forge intake have you purchased a different one that you like? I'm currently researching which one to buy for my r32

Go ahead and get ready to repair or replace the plastic air scoop that attaches to the front of the engine bay. The seams split and the mounting tabs snapped on mine and every replacement forge sent me. Aside from that design flaw, the intake looks great and sounds cool too. I had the same color combo

Thanks for the heads up,All the weight is held up by the scoop.Maybe i'll wrap it in exhaust tape or something.It seems like the factory box kept the water spray out better then this will.

Just noticed the hood has been rubbing on the air filter housing.Might be the downward pressure that caused the scoop to break.

are you still selling it?

Do you feel difference with this intake ?

I don't know, I quickly sold mine after I saw the quality and issues everyone else had. You would think for the price they could put a directional arrow.

I have the same forge intake but the clamps have come lose over time and broke and now the whole intake has come out what clamps do I use to replace them

first of all its a VR6 not a v6 and it wont fit ANYTHING with a vr6 engine cause this wil not fit the Audi tt3.2 vr6

VR6 is recognised as V6 technically speaking as the VR6 is just a single bank/ single head V6 with a very mild angle between pistons
