This is a great vid James! You're absolutely right! Market structure is just the best. I myself could never memorize and keep track of all the different patterns. Too tedious Same thing with the long list of different types of candlesticks. You could do a vid on that too.

Thanks James for a good explanation of the basis of the pattern which is a ranging structure. I would just add that drawing the pattern can be very helpful, especially as markets are often not as symmetrical as shown in this video. Drawing the line or lines bordering the range helps to more easily identify the break out from the range. This actually simplifies trading because it aids seeing & helps where to place alerts and orders. This is without getting attached to the name of the pattern.

We wait for structure to trade structure(to the pin point) or do we trade market structure based off of moves? For example, we see a doji on a major support area on the HTF and we go for the LTF to trade on the overall UP movements with market structure as guide???

Hey James, I get some queries here at 07:42. How can we mark them HL till previous HH is not broken? There may be consolidation or sideways but can't be marked as HL as the demand there was not able to brake the price above the PHH. I find the structuring the price during the sideways is bit tricky.
