Just awesome... praise God.....Horses are very special animals.....they can sense fear, happiness, and pick up on emotions etc... They take a while to study they don't make no rash decisions.. My grandpa raised horses in addition to cattle most of his life and one of his sons my uncle he raised horses and my other uncle raised and trained horses and my grandpa's brothers raised horses.. So from the time I was four or five years old I was learning about horses and I very much enjoyed writing them and spending time with them.. Unfortunately these days I don't get to spend much time around horses I've got a couple of friends that's got some.. maybe after the turn of the new year things will work out I can spend more time around horses they are super sympathetic and empathetic and they just bring you great therapy and healing.. As Pensioners it gives us so much pleasure to treat these very intelligent animals and to know there are such as yourselves doing such valuable work. The demands on our charity giving are endless but one can only do so much. What we have learned in my 76 years to Heaven is the Human animal is generally the worst so anyone helping other animals gets our support. Thanks again, be lucky!

When I had land, I was a licensed animal rescuer and I fostered horses. So heart breaking and so rewarding at the same time. Me and my ex split up and he got the land so I no longer had a place to foster. I won't board a horse because I want to be able to spend hours of each day with the horses. God bless you for the work you are doing. I have adopted several out but also became a forever home. Thankfully my ex loves animals as much as I do.

I just ran across this video. What caring, loving people. They go beyond what regular rescues do. As a teenager I showed Quarter Horses and also Angus cattle.

Wish I weren't in bad shape so I could help them too haha I'm their age x haha love em all so my last pony pinto of course, hAha all were , Marylegs I learned to help me, my disability pony! I had to get up on stool lay over her back pull my leg up over and I was on!! Yeah, she was the best little girl so sweet knew there was somethin wrong with momma,she stood right there so good I don't ever think she really ever had anybody love her, she was one of these ponies went around in circles on a wheel givin rides, poor baby, it took awhile a month maybe fer her to really realize that momma was gonna be the one to take care of her and not leave her and I say mornin out the winder to her every mornin haha and she'd say mornin too haha, I had to laugh though, she'd jump the fence go see ponies next door till she finally got to figure in she'd rather be with them that bit her, I'd get my little 4 wheeler bring her home cayse I couldn't walk, and she came home good haha finally just me and her!! Kiss kiss kiss haha we went the trails and mountains had more fun, never a buck or a mean bone in that little girl ever and I couldn't of wished fer anybody or pony to ever love me more,love you Marylegs Jane wood

Bless you for your commitment/sacrifice to these beautiful majestic creatures. You are making an incredible difference. What some of these horses face before dying is beyond unthinkable so don't ever think you are not making much of a difference! If only horses could talk!

I dont know how you do it! I rescued 4 and I am overwhelmed, but, Im like you folks! I WONT GIVE UP! Thank you for teaching me about the older horses. Im so worried about them. Im doing it alone and I keep getting hurt, but its my life. Its my dream, and Im living it. Your videos are truly inspiring. I am learning so much.

We have 23 horse all of them are rescues apart from 2 which were born from those rescue horses, its hard enough to take care of them so I can't imagine the work you put I for this many!

I love these people and what they are doing with the horses. I love all the animals, but the horses and the dogs come first.

I've ridden so many times! 2 times on a friends horse. Then the rest I've ridden on Wilber so many times! Its so fun and he's the sweetest boy! If nobody loves Wilber then they have no soal!

Wow!! This was such an inspiration for me.It showed me that not everyone in this world is cruel.It showed me that there are people that care. I now have a dream to open a horse sanctuary here in New Zealand for any horse: Sick,injured,illtreated,abandoned,feral,wild,young & old. You showed me there is hope. Thank you so much

God sent these people to do his work my we all help them some how

When I’m older, I want to own a horse rescue. Since we still have horse slaughter in Canada, I want a place where people can send horses without them going to slaughter if they can’t be sold. I also want to bring in abused or neglected horses so they can have a better life.

Katie Sue is adorable...I don’t get people who dump their animals because they are old.

Love what you are doing. I never have and never will understand people that abuse, neglect animals. We have 16 horses but don't have quite as much work as you do. Two pole barns open to the south that are 24x40. Couldn't do it if had to clean stalls. Portable fence panels work great to make round pens for training. We use Priefert brand and are very happy with the quality. Several of our horses are rescues too. They're so appreciative. We're just hoping to out live all of them and stay in good health. 🙂 Best wishes to all of you.

GANN010355 it’s the horses that have it good here; first they demanded that we obtain as many acres of land as we could somehow afford for them, then they made us find and purchase unending bales of the best hay we can. Then their need for multiple daily feedings and poop clean up makes us their chefs and butlers. These high maintenance devas have it good! Yes we ask for some effort on their part, to be careful around us and keep us safe, be willing to learn new things, and do something with us that will be interesting while keeping them fit. If we opened the gates and let them roam free they get in trouble in my neighbors’ yards, and I’d get sued.

To be honest I hope that you don't stay with them cause thay mostly take in badly treated horses if you do come back as a horse I hope that you will get the best owner 😂

I would love to Sergio on what you're doing I've been want to rescue some Mustangs too but my family we only own 22 7 of it belongs to my mom and myself and my brothers I mean I'm sure I could use the rest of it but I'm hoping God gives me a chance to buy more acreage so I can help more horses and not just horses cows goats you know any animal that needs help and even people sometimes people are in the streets for no reason just because of me don't mean they're always on drugs I would love to make a place where they help me take care of the animals and for room and board

Thank you for your kind words. What you're seeing are fly masks -- they're translucent and the horses can see right through them. The masks keep flies and other pests off of their eyes.
