I was heavy hauling through Montana around 25yrs ago, must have been 40 Angels passed me up on their way to Sturgis. I hung my arm out the window and gave them all a fist pump and a thumbs up. They ALL gave it back with great big smiles, one of the 'ol lady's' even flashed me, made this loggers day ! 😎

Stimmt. Hatte ihn auf einem Treffen der Angels getroffen und die Gelegenheit mit ihm zu sprechen. Er war auf dem Boden geblieben im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen der Szene die einem großen MC angehören. Er ist ein Vorbild und wird es immer bleiben.

Doesn’t matter who a person is, what Sonny has done for not only the angels, not only america, but the entire world. Sonny has proven what a simple concept of a group of hard working men, who can get together and celebrate the joys and wonders life has to offer. Nothing wrong with that now is there.

No, nothing wrong with that. He with some friends started the club and it's going strong now and has been for years. But there is always going to be people who disagree with everything. If you look for a problem you will find it but it doesn't mean it's true. Take care.

I live the square life and I will say there is no denying Sonny Barger's impact as an American icon and popular culture. Sonny Barger was as American as apple pie,Levi's jeans , Clint Eastwood movies and spaghetti westerns , Coca Cola , Jack Daniels you name it . Sonny had more of a postive impact on American culture than people realise .After what my late mother told me about Joe Kennedy Snr and what he did to her generation of Brits during WW2 and his own family I would have Sonny Barger over the Kennedy family any day . I have learned also that the bad guys dont necesarily wear leathers with patches and ride loud motorcycles . They wear collars , ties and suits and are elected by people. They see it fit to rewardthemselves with exhorbedant salaries and give themselves knighthoods at the end of their elected time. All of this whilst doing very little in the process except lining their own pockets with good people's money .

I met Sonny in Walmart with my young son,we received his autograph along with that he took the time out to explain toy son the bad effects of smoking and what it done to him,what amazed me was how he took something horrible ( his throat issues) and used it in a positive way to communicate and educate my child.God Bless him.
