Forestry Mulching Another Site With The Takeuchi TL12R2

Forestry mulching another site with the Takeuchi TL12R2 and Fecon. This is a site the water company that is at the falls which is part of Shoal Creek. I'm having to clear and open up this site because they have been having people sneak down and climb on the dam. So for security we need to open up the area and clean up the fence line for a new fence. This site is a total of 5 acres but I only mulch about 3 of it. This is also interesting because the electric use to have a building here and generate electricity at the dam, I have a picture from 1929 I put in the video showing the site then. I'm also feeling much more comfortable running the Fecon now. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #ForestryMulching

Brandon I recognize that place. Years ago a girlfriend and I snuck in there. I won’t go into a lot of details... but you might say I got LUCKY!!! My worm was swallowed several times. The fish were biting like a pool of piranhas. And, at 17, who could ask for anything more??? You are getting pretty good at operating that cutter. It was plain to tell that you were reading the machine and feeding it much better. Too bad it had to go back! That one clip where you chewed into that ?hackberry? At about the 13:30 mark was a perfect show of mastering feed and speed. Bravo! Great job.

  • @eliteearthworksllc

I've talked with some operators who run skid steers with steel tracks and they say they're an absolute pain to get back onto the undercarriage when you pop off a track and that it's easier to pop them off, especially on slopes when not driving straight up and down the slope. Also they've said the steel tracks can be slippery, like operating on ice, at times
