It's not necessarily the gameplay that's always the best on Forest Nothing, for me it's the near two hours of GL team banter that makes it all worth it.

Can't believe Daut actually won after all that!

Poor Esther, stuck in a stalemate with no one talking to her. Imagine this game, but with no conversation, just the sound of units attacking and dying. She did end up with over 500k resources in the bank at the end though, based on her economy score.

Intense, had to watch at 0.25 speed.

No real norway revival without the sax guy!!! :D

Awww, I wanted to admire the majesty of TaToH's BBT wall at the end!!

It's nice to know when given access to virtually unlimited resources and holiday cheer the professionals are just as apt to build a wall of bombard towers as my 13 year old self.

Watched the whole game, love the commentary there should be a forest nothing tourney.

It's fun as a one off and I enjoyed watching the whole thing, but the main entertainment is just the banter with team mates, not the game play.

Well I made it to the end! Fun game to watch! I know you don't enjoy these games but that was some crazy micro in the beginning LOL. That was definitely a dungeon crawl there at the end. Daut never wants to die with ease. All that gold you made with the trade was crazy! So many bombard cannons lost but you had 30k+ gold in the bank most of the time lol. Priceless

Vipi I noticed you were going to individual stables & removing camels from the queue close to the end. Idk if that was on purpose to remove them from specific areas of the map, but if not, you can ctrl+click on the global queue in top left to remove units as well. You can even shift+ctrl+click to remove 5 at a time. Hope that helps, gg!

He knows this, the reason people avoid cancelling things in the global queue is because the items in the queue move. I used to do this and would ctrl+click to cancel villagers or something, but a villager would get created just as I was in the middle of cancelling, and I would accidentally cancel something else (sometimes it's really bad, e.g. chemistry, or even imperial age). So for this reason a lot of players will never cancel in the global queue, because it could be considered a "bad habit".

Don't vills cost anything on this map? You had 5 food from the start, yet trained up 10 more vills.

Why don't they use palisade wall or farms early on to clear out the downed trees? Is that a setting they toggled?

You can only build over straggler trees, it doesn't work for grouped trees

I do enjoy watching these but I understand the tediom of a long drawn out game, Running out of wood in forest nothing is new though.
