Had a lot of fun with this tutorial video. There was only one thing I could not figure out, how do you manage to flip/rotate some of the roof tiles at 18:32 min ? Mine will always stick with the front side, not matter how much I rotate them. Best Regards.

Beautiful! I love how you did the tree, my favorite part. How did you snap the roof tiles to the roof? it doesn't look like you have snapping on and I didn't see any odd commands used in your screencast...

You don't have to have snapping on, you can activate it just by holding CTRL if you have it set up

18:32 what shortcut did you use to flip the tiles? it writes S, but how? and it seems like you used X axis.

they are linked duplicates (alt+D). what you do to one happens to others as well (answers to both questions)

It wasn't the same mesh. He selected that face and duplicated it but didn't move it much before loop cutting it.
