Forensics Vs Criminals | TRIPLE EPISODE | The New Detectives

Ойын-сауық

Seeds of Destruction: Plants help provide oxygen and nutrients for existence. Soil is the fertilizer of life. Yet both can yield clues to the time and location of a person's death. In criminal investigations, a simple seedpod can provide the missing link by placing a suspect at a crime scene. Dirt left on shoes, tires or clothes can pinpoint a crime scene.: Forensic Botany & Geology: Plants help provide oxygen and nutrients for existence. Soil is the fertilizer of life. Yet both can yield clues to the time and location of a person's death. In criminal investigations, a simple seedpod can provide the missing link by placing a suspect at a crime scene. Dirt left on shoes, tires or clothes can pinpoint a crime scene.
Lethal Dosage: Toxicology: While drugs can cure disease and ease pain, they can also be agents of murder. Toxicologists can examine blood and tissue to uncover cases where death is not as natural as it may seem--from slow arsenic poisoning to quick cocaine overdoses.
Tools of Death: Tool marking: A tool used to commit a crime can often be the same tool used to solve it. The pattern a machine leaves on an item, the unusual way a tool crimps a wire, and even something as innocuous as the shape of a wood chip can lead to a killer.
The New Detectives is an American docudrama where world-renowned forensics experts and criminal investigators solve a wide range of cases.
Some scenes in this program have been reenacted, due to the sensitive nature of the show, viewer discretion is advised.

Robin, I know in some way what are going through. My fiance and I were shot with my son escaping the bullets like you did that scorched through his father's body. It was a Halloween day, my son's 1st birthday when it happened. It's been 15 yrs now, but those days birthdays, especially my son's birthday is so hard for me since that was the day his father died. Holidays, the 1st time something happened to me that my fiancee used to take care of like my car breaking down, or something needs to be fixed, or people taking endlessly from me, none of what I would have needed to have dealt with alone if my fiancee or husband was still here. I've even went through what I call like I had won the lottery where people all knew what I had went through and have swarmed towards me 1 by 1 or small groups to take advantage of me and my kindness and taking everything that I had fought so hard for, struggled through to get and have for my son and myself like I had millions of dollars that said come and take me. If that makes sense. And now that I have nothing left and losing the house that I have bought by myself 13yrs ago while in college and COVID taking my business away from me and then everyone else taking my vehicles, money, belongings, our meaning for life, changing who we were supposed to be or what I wanted for my son to not have to go through, I've lost my very soul now and I miss my fiancee even more or still, especially since soon we will be living in a cardboard box. I thought life was hard before but as time goes by it becomes harder and harder to live without him or at least my memories of him. I've been through times where I didn't want to sleep because of the reoccurring dreams, the sounds that I heard in the night would scare me, the sight of a holstered gun panics me to no end, let alone an unholstered gun, the sounds of 1, or a paint ball gun, or fireworks, the smell of matches, the smell of blood or pennies, the thought of someone that has a gun where my son is w me one time had sent me into a major panic where I had sat him on my lap even though he was quite large at the time and tucked his head under the dash and layed over top of him because the driver wouldn't leave the area and I couldn't get out to leave because they were right behind us w the passenger of the truck, however this ended up being a ploy of the driver and passenger of getting money out of me and making me scared of these other men by telling me that they had guns as they surrounded the guy I was supposedly dating at the time. I just hope u don't have to go through any of those people in your life because they will remind u of the shooter and make u just wish that the shooter had taken it life too. At least that's what I wish, because I don't want to live this life anymore! I had also lost all of my friends when he died because they were all his friends so they didn't come around anymore. And people that knew me wouldn't even talk to me anymore because they didn't know what to say to me I think, they would avoid me in public or just be generic to me if they did say anything. I couldn't attend the funeral due to fighting for my own life in the hospital and I wish they would have waited for me, because I really just need those tears and hugs that I missed. Those memories of that day are so fresh in my mind even after 15yrs they feel like they just happened yesterday, I relive them every day, not a day goes by that I don't think of that day! I'm so sorry that u have to feel any of this in ur life, and that u will never be the same on the inside even tho u may seem fine on the outside. Sink or swim it is, but just because u swim for a long time doesn't mean that u don't have to stop and tread water for a while, u may even go through a dead man's float or just start sinking even if u have been swimming for years, I just hope u have some people that can help u stay afloat so u don't have to drowned like me by urself!Much love to u and the rest of ur life!

Here in Australia the country's largest computer data centre is operated by the Commonwealth Dept of Health. Every visit to the doctor, every prescription written, every test conducted, ever visit to the hospital, every X Ray and Scan is recorded on the My Health Record database. It is usually available to whatever GP or hospital you visit and access is strictly controlled. In my case every every aspect of my medical history going back to 1972 is in the system. And its available to law enforcement by warrant. Its linked to a substantial piece of software that can analyse it and cross match its information with the National Crime Database thats available to every police force in the country. Its a fabulous weapon against crime. When you realise that your biometric information like eyes, fingerprints and dna (which is taken if you are questioned by police), and you have a tool that makes it impossible for a criminal to hide in the community. Now with ANPR, we can find out as much as we like about a driver before even a traffic stop is made, and we can trace a cars movements all across the country.

Won’t it be better if the evidences taken shown in the video are from the police files or were photos taken when the FBI or forensics people gathered them? Won’t it be better if the narrator narrates when the characters are silent or narrator stop narrating when characters are talking and let viewers hear what they are saying?

Calm down. It’s part of the story and tells how the victim ce into contact with the killer. It’s an old show from a time when journalists just reported the facts of the story without having to worry if someone was going to get offended. They also aren’t going to introduce every person involved in the story by every adjective pertaining to them. “Jane Doe was a mother, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, friend, coworker, best friend, neighbor, intelligent, beautiful, and so on .” They’re only going to say what’s important to the story. It’s no different than doing a series about a drug dealer who was murdered during a deal. He could be a great guy/girl, but being a dealer is the only part that’s important to the case.

One of the victims was murdered while cheating on her husband. I hope she had lots of life insurance for his sake.

Sounds like they had an agreement that they BOTH could date other people. It was a marriage in name only.
