One of the big applications for geometry is any form of 3D computer application. Think about it, you have some information about a 3D object, and then you have to somehow get that onto a 2D screen, complete with colour, shadows, reflections....

As a forensic science student, blood spatter analysis is totally important in crime scene investigation. The direction of blood flow, angle of origin, the dragging pattern could help you to figure out the condition of victim and perpetrator.

Healthline has a good article titled "therapy for every budget" and it includes free options. Idr if it mentions it but many places have free counseling for youths and other demographics so that's worth checking. Therapy In A Nutshell and NICABM on YT are great, evidence based, understanding, thorough yet accessible, and made by actual therapists (I def recommend watching them regardless of whether you are or aren't getting therapy). And 7 Keys to Safe Trauma Recovery is a great book (might not be the title verbatim but I remember the author was Babette Rothchild).

Most people if they’re trying to get away with a crime can get stressed, rush and therefore make mistakes. Luckily this is all to do with physics but even despite that, there’s the understanding of human nature such that if someone has time to confuse forensics teams then they probably have time to clean things up. Making a bigger mess would be counterintuitive. so would harming someone so fatally that they’re not able to get themselves help, and hiding it but still

Watching this, I finally know why my arts professor at university called many of my paintings/illustrations a „crime scene inspection“. I‘ve subconsciously used blood stain patterns in combination with bold dark colors reminiscent of (dried) blood. XD When the forensics expert described the individual patterns I knew what the result/cause would be, because I‘ve basically used 90% of them to get color on canvas or textiles… funny that. That little anecdote aside - this is a really interesting and informativ video.

It's the Pythagorean theorum. The man's name was Pythagorus, hence, Pythagorean. Also, strictly speaking, he didn't use the Pythagorean theorem. That's a^2 + b^2 = c^2. He did used arcsin and tangent functions though, and it's all trigonometry after all.
