As a Czech, I have visited Poland a couple of times. It's a good, solid country. After a few minutes of being in Poland I felt as if I was still in Czech Republic because the people, houses, streets, all look the same. It's only when you notice that the signs are in a different language do you realise you're in a different country. A few years ago I had a strange dream. In it, I was standing at the top of Everest overlooking the scenery and was startled by a giant white eagle landing behind me. I jumped, and the eagle spoke to me, addressing me by my name. He told me not to be afraid, and that he was an angel. Gradually, his appearance shifted and he became a naked man standing there in the freezing cold. He said that he was the first, and that 7 more angels would come over the next few years onto Earth to save humanity. For years I pondered the meaning of that dream and only recently found out that the symbol for Poland is a white eagle!

One of the main ways that Poland distinguishes itself in Europe is its high degree of religiousness. They're all Catholics. Contrast that with Czech Republic, where we're all atheists.

It was published 7mo ago, but it had to be done before parliamentary elections in October or at least before December 2023 when Donald Tusk was sworn for Prime Ministry 2. This is end of Duda's second (5year) term and next year (2025) will be new elections in which he can't be candidate again 3. Poland developed really fast - we were one of the poorest post-communist countries in 90's. Our economy growed x12 in last 30 years
