It's because we almost have the same countries. They also have that of culture of Spain just like Philippines. These countries were former Spanish territories.

If I were to choose between the two. I would love to be where you once lived. Love the quiet small town appeal to it. I am not really fond of tall buildings and big cities. Also that street looks really peaceful and clean.

My brother got married there in one of the function hall of the Glass Residences. The pool areas are really awesome, facilities like the gym is good too

I began to record myself singing using a boom mic plugged in a V8 sound card and tablet rather than in a WeSing app and I am not even a full youtube content creator but my room gets too messy too with all the wires and lights and all the accessories needed for a quality video. I can relate to this 😂❤

Well i can say i like the environment in Dominican bcoz is not look crowded look simple but neat for my opinion and also atleast dominican os safe for the earth quake bcoz no high rise building...Anyway im happy that u choose to stay here in the Philippines hope u can stay longer and about the electricity bill here that is one of the problem of many Filipinos electricy is so high to pay😅

I love these comparison vlogs cause I’m always curious about DR. My friends who has been there many times for vacation keeps hyping it up and tells us how beautiful it is there! Both places in DR and PH are cute spaces! Your neighbourhood in DR looks similar to my mom’s neighbourhood in PH

There's a lot of jobs here in the Philippines that looks for Spanish speakers who can also speak English so I'm sure you guys can find a job the soonest! Especially in the BPO industry! There's a lot of really good companies here within that industry that pays a very decent salary!

@@SolLunaTV I really have no clue. 3 aircons used a couple hours a day, 1 refrigerator, 1 hot/cold water dispenser, 1 shower water heater and a few electric fans. Last March it was 12k, April became 15k and for May it was 20k. For June it's 18k. Meralco charges so ridiculous.

Your living condition has leveled up; The P22K plus monthly costs, I can say is still cheaper given the decency, security and peace and so many amenities you enjoy in, from the building design - is SMDC. Do you plan to stay here for longer or for good? Haahaha, anyways, enjoy your new home, you will get your channel community more and bigger with your decision to stay here, at least for now.

If you like to look behind the surface, today it should be about the desire of people to control their own fate and lives, and to improve their environments, wherever they live. So if you relocate or migrate, this is a way to change your situation. What if things go downhill because of general political situation? The people seem totally helpless then. Let me mention one guy who made a big difference that can be felt still today. His name is Dr. Jose Rizal. He had influenced the Filipino culture and encouraged them to be more critical about regimes and their local elites, and then to take personal initiative. Now if we compare to Germany, well that would not be so fair, but currently, I would prefer the Philippines to Germany. What I mean, how are the conditions on the Carribean islands including what once was Hispaniola, and so we end up with your report, and we should also see how politics are dysfunctional but people have somewhat different strategies to cope with that. The Filipinos are cleaning up within weeks after the most horribly Typhoons. This is no joy, but most time they can manage it quite well. It is just unfortunate that this destroys so much wealth, and slows down progress. Neighbor Haiti was exploding with NGOs and help initiatives, but the debris wasn't cleaned up for decades. It is about how local people can enforce control of the matters that are THEIRS. And then organize and get the hardest job done, because they want a livable environment. The situation has influence in the whole Carribbean I think. I heard people from DR talk about that, they do their best, are diligent, but the environment and geography brings back disorder. Perhaps you have some spare time and are interested in reading Rizal's sarcastic novels, and his newspaper articles and letters. If you like to do this, your opinion would be interesting.
