Foreign investors have started publicly shaming Kenyan Politicians who they deem corrupt. New Kenya?

Tatu City has publicly shamed and condemned Kiambu County Governor Wamatangi over extortion but Kimani Wamatangi is telling them to either apologize for false claims or go to court?
Is this the way to go?

Governers house may be unnecessary because they can live at their homes. But other public amenities are necessary. 2 acres of land for one persons house surely? Where those wazungus live, there is no such kind of opulence lifestyle at the expense of common man. Hope with time hope we will hear more from both sides. Anyway most public offices are very corrupt in Kenya. I remember three years ago I wanted to do some building work in Kariobangi. Nothing could be done until I met area chief and sub chief and give them their hongo. Otherwise they told me all building materials will be stollen. I wanted to give it via mpesa and then snitch on them but they insisted I pay them via mzee wa nyumba kumi. I really told that kijana mzee wa number kumi off.. After that, they called Council znd NEMA officials on me. I had met all requirements but they wanted 500k as well. I sent someone else to bargain and said they must talk to me. My representatives called me and I didn't know they were listening. I was soo shocked and angry at the amount of money they wanted. I told him to look for a buyer and sell the land because that was crazy amount of money. I also said that I was suffering from Corona and I would love to meet them and pass it on to them before I die. When they heard that they said I give them whatever I could afford at that time but watarudi baadaye. Corruption in Kenya is unofficially official wherever you go. It's hard to do as the bible teahes where honesty is concerned. Mungu tusaidie

Cost of living goes up, low wages, pollution of environment, carcinogenic and pfas forever chemicals spewed in the local waterways and in the air. This is another way of frustrating the developer until they cave in. It is unfair because Tatu might have paid for the entire land for development and if Tatu cave in and give that land to the County as requested, is the County going to reimbuse money to Tatu equal to the value of the requested land? This doen't make any sense.

I am not a prophet Lynn, but I somehow see God's hand in the unravelling events unfolding in quick succession. Kenya was sliding to oblivion and it seemed no one or hope was left but God in his kind mercy, pulled a sudden angel from the very unlikely angle-Genz youth and as they say the rest is history. For future, anyone ascribing to contest for leadership, be either politics or civil service (technocrats) must think twice before engaging otherwise "CORRUPTION" skunk is history in my view. @GSM888 Please report the matter to the Ombudsman office (Office of administrative justice). The Commission investigates matters pertaining to MALADMINISTRATION (Improper Administration) in the Public Sector (Government departments). Maladminstration inckudes complaints about delay, abuse of power, unfair treatment, manifest injustice and even discourtesy (rudeness). Also, The Commission has the mandate of overseeing and enforcing the implementation of the Access To Information Act, 2016. The Ombudsman office in Kenya was set up in 2011. Its origins lie in Sweden, and it has been replicated in other parts of the world. Sadly, very few Kenyans know about the Ombudsman office, even worse there are few smarty pants who act as brokers (charge people to forward their complaints to the Ombudsman). Write to the Ombudsman (they take submissions ONLINE) and tell them of the difficulties (delay) you have experienced in regards to your ID application from the Ruiru office. They will write to that department asking for answers. Most bureaucrats in Kenya get away with murder because Kenyans never WRITE in to complain. But the moment a letter arrives, things begin to move because said bureaucrat doesn't want their personnel file sullied. Instead of complaining amongst ourselves, Kenyans must complain using the right channels!! Write in and then write back and let us know how it goes!!
