good video guys, but if i can add another couple of tips. when striking the ball keep the wrists soft and tighten them just before the impact the ball would have much more accuracy and hit the target. also try holding the stick about half inch away from the top, gives a really nice controlled and strong hit. i learnt that from my dad and he has a deadly hit.

thanks for the video. Is there no English term for hitting the ball high in hockey? or is it just call a high shot? Also, is this still allowed? Having played hockey 20 years ago and recently watched a hockey match, it seems nowadays they are mostly pushing the ball rather than hitting? Has astroturf hockey turned into indoor hockey? Why are they rarely hitting like in this video?

No you need to have a little talent with this

Guys just another tip, leave 1-2 inches before you put ur hands on the stick as this will improve your accuracy and the power will be increased

Ma Boi don't put your hands right at the top of the stick, leave 1-2 inches of space between the top of the stick and where you put your hands
