It’s perfectly ok to use a piece of very fine wet and dry emery to clean or reshape the end of the brushes… You had a white rubber ring left out..😱

this procedure works with so many broken things, take it apart, clean it a bit, put it back together. my family often asks me to repair things, i take them apart, sometimes have no idea why it doesnt work, clean it, and put it back together, and suddenly it works.
