My Dad had a silver 96 loaded GL had everything! That car looked more luxurious compared to these newer ones in the video. His had dual exhausts the floor shift with different style dash that went with the floor shift ones, the Duratec 3.0 V6, chrome wheels and a special cloth interior with a marble look was comfy. This style looked generic and cheap compared to ours.

@@gratigo1 these were very popular as rental cars. The 2007 model year of these was sold exclusively to rental fleets when new.

Technically 1985 to 2019. Came out early even though they were an 86 new model year car.

Lol those interviews in the beginning were so fake. They tried so hard to make these cars likeable but failed miserably. This car killed the taurus

Tell me why these were everywhere back in the day. In my area (Knoxville Tennessee) you couldn’t go anywhere between 2000 to 2010 without seeing several of these. They were very popular cars in their time.

Good to see they copied off foreign cars.
