DO THIS ON YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY, FORSCAN ISN'T MY SOFTWARE, NEITHER IS OBDLINK EX MY ADAPTER. I HAVE SHOWN THE WAY I DO IT AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM DOING IT LIKE THIS
- This guide is for these cars only: Mondeo mk5, Edge mk2, S-Max mk2, Galaxy mk3, Fusion & Lincoln MkZ
- Upgrade procedure is the same for JS7T, KS7T & LS7T
- To complete this update you must have FORScan Beta with paid or free trial license
-OBDLink EX & vGate vLinker FS are the best, fastest and safest adapters for this
-Other adapters with HS/MS switch aren't recommended to do this and can brick your IPC

No, car is in ignition only

Can the engine be powered on? (Ignition ON and engine ON) as for example when updating SYNC with a USB? I am afraid that if I will open door then whole procedure will be stopped and I can damage IPC.

I have never done it with engine running with Forscan If you have ignition on and open doors installation doesnt stop Just to be safe rather sorry wait in car until installation is finished☺️ With UCDS I have done it engine on, and I had no problem, but I didnt like the clicking sound of BCM after installation was finished.
Where did you get the files from? I know the files I need but when I search for them on the Ford calibration site it says they can't be found?

Before anyone replies, i don't have facebook, but.. can you modify sync 4 with this? specifically looking for a way to enable gps without the stupid ford app on a cell phone.

Probably not, because that cluster is old and doesnt accept newer files (custom themes)

well, some update for the cluster of a 2013 lincoln mkz for my 2013 fusion, that can enable the digital speedometer and the tire pressure, because with forscan the digital speedometer option does not appear, and the tire pressure one does appear option, but it is not sold on the screen@@mamods

@@erikvandebroek7558 I have a customer who has an Edge 2019 I think, and he installed KS7T nomask, and Lane Keep & Lane Assist worked fine for him, he has no issues, I dont know if he was lucky or with KS7T works no problem The best thing you can do is just to try install KS7T nomask or LS7T nomask while you still have the OEM frame If they one of the versions works, you can change frame, if not you keep the OEM and install back the factory files

Ihr habt schon eine grosse auswahl von den Disign´s, das heisst ich könnte von euch jede belibige datei holen/ kaufen und selber mit ForScan instalieren. Und Wie ist es mit Original datei wenn ich das Auto verkaufen will kann man diese wieder drauf spielen ?

No need for backup, you can download them anytime with Forscan or UCDS. I can send them too.
