You forgot how it's ONLY rwd. Making it a non snow vehicle only. If they made it in awd I would have bought one. Went with the much slower Mercedes instead. I watched 2 new transits with new snow tires get stuck in my road in MN this week. Lol right on flat road that has been plowed. Lol I drove around them though a 3 foot snow drift in the Mercedes. Same price as the ford.

I have a question I just bought a used 2018 explorer ford transit mid roof . What kind of awning did you install, do you do installations of this awning still. I leave in MI and looking to add an awning that you can add a tent to the awning.

Do the captain chairs swivel? Which length will not fit in an average parking spot?

Hi Rita! We did not do swivel captains chairs in this particular vehicle but we can install that as an option! :) This is the longest length and the owner drives it daily and has no issues parking :)

Mine is just over 20', and it is a nightmare to park in city. Never attempt to go to a Mall with it, or you will hit... many possible things if you are not used to driving it. Some of my friends with it will just not go downtown. In cities, you can get tickets for parking in one stall. You need to park in 2 stalls.

Thanks for posting this video, I'm retiring in 2 years and plan to buy one similar to this to convert into a camper. I was wondering when the American vans are going to get front fog lights like the European transits?

Not sure about the fog lights, we do a lot of aftermarket customization and we could probably add whatever style or brightness of light you want! :)

Wadoch has a fog light plastic mold it .You would have to cut out the corners of your factory bumper to fit to kick it almost has the same look as the European front bumpers I believe there about 400 bucks including lights

whu does ford use such small tyres on their vans, The Sprinter has much bigger tyres, more heavy duty but not Ford. Do we still have to go to third party to convert it to 4 wheel drive ofr is ford offering it now?

1 2 We use these for our hotel shuttles. With the twin turbo engine. Last year we had a 4’ snow storm. Vehicle did fine with no snow tires. Got to know how to drive it but they do great!

I agree. There are a couple decent companies doing aftermarket 4x4 conversions on the Transit (Quigley is the best known), but Ford definitely needs to offer factory 4x4 on this van because some people just don't want to deal with converting it. Ford is giving up all those sales to the Sprinter, especially now that the Sprinter is being made in the USA with much shorter wait times. That said, I'd prefer the Transit just for ease of finding places for service and much lower cost of maint. The ford is also much easier to work on, if you do your own maint.

Amazing that you could drive on the snowy road, LOL'ing, driving around those stuck transits and still able to tell that they had "snow tires" on them. You must have noticed those snow flakes imprinted on walls of those tires. Very good eyes you have. I had a Mercedes for 5 years, but the cost was prohibitive, although got to admit that Mercedes have come a long way.

Ford can’t but you could do one yourself, theirs plenty of options to do that that you can do yourself.

Is this the degans danger mobile?

Any plan for Ford to make a 170" wheelbase ?

Dually is no go on a pallet in between the wheels wells, got fucked on that and had to trade in a brand new 2018 for another after 300 miles. It's roughly 46" between the wells on the dually.

i want to see one for 4 or less people

Is that rear seat/bed from Ford or is it 'after market'?

European Ford Transit? No thank you!!! I had a few for my taxi company, i did regret it so much because of the quality. I used them for the dance and nightclub and events transports. I woul'd go for the Sprinter with the V6 engine and VW Crafter. It is good enough for construction van. NOT for sick people transport or ambulance.

Way under powered. Ford needs to allow for a much larger turbo diesel. Not of course the 6.7L one but say a 5.0L. Then you'd have something here.
