Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hello, and welcome back to the channel everyone! In this episode, we’ll take a step back in time, in which I will cover a #QuickTip in tearing down a 2003 F-250 Super Duty Dana 60 Axle Shaft for rebuild.
I suppose that this format is a bit of a departure, but I hope that you enjoy the video, and find it informative. To reinstall, simply reverse the procedure. To make your own seal driver (pictured at the end of my video, simply grab the following pieces from your local home-improvement store:
1. 1 1/4" x 8" galvanized pipe
2. 1 1/4" flange
3. 1 1/4" cap

RCJ I finally located your KZread channel. This my first time to watch one of your videos. You know I’m a big fan, I will get around to the others soon. In my opinion, good descriptive video, it’s great that you show some struggles as that’s how viewers learn. The best example, is a good example. However when “do it yourselfers” edit videos to perfectly, often the learning content gets edited out. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing you’re knowledge. John Arvizu

One of the most replaced parts when building my cars. Hard launches and banging gears kills U joints. Lots of good information here Casey. Cheers 🍻👍👍👍

Hey. I bet you got it apart and couldn't get it back together. Lol. I find tasks that I can't do interesting to watch. My baby u joints in the old jeep look teensy compared to that one. Glad you got it back together.

Yeah. They’re pretty massive. I’m in the process of doing my first double cardan right now…those things are REALLY confusing.

Not so hotroddish video than usually, but useful info anyway. I guess this might be useful, if/when i have to mess with my GMC truck axles. Keep it up!

@@crazycaseyscustoms Same here. Repair shops are rediculously overpriced in here, so i have to do so much by myself than its possible.

For me, it was having repair shops screw things up, and not own up to it, @@1fknhpycmpr355. I don’t really let anybody touch anything, with VERY few exceptions.

Got a 2000 F350, in Europe!!! Recently it was towed because it was parked illegaly (so they claim). I was not present when they towed it. They cut the bolts that attach the shaft to the flange and removed the shaft from the flange. Towed it about 5 miles and hooked up the shaft again using aluminum bolts. 3 weeks later I drove it off their property. After a couple of maneuvers, trying to get out of their tow-yard, as soon as I got on the street, my flange broke! One thing I forgot to say, throughout all this time, my truck was always attached to a 37foot camper which has about 13,000lbs. Anybody knows why that flange broke?

I’m not sure I’m following? What flange? Front driveshaft flange? I’m not sure how it works over there, but if I tow truck operator cut anything on my truck, I’d take them to court.
