Ford Pickup Rescues Stuck Semi

Ойын-сауық

After the Dallas / Fort Worth area was hit with an Ice Storm in February 2011, I was up in the news helicopter shooting the traffic and weather. I came across numerous trucks and cars sliding around on the ice. I notice one particular FED EX truck being helped by an unlikely helper. This video shows how bigger isn't always better. Some of the audio is from my communication with our news desk. Nice job Mr. Good samaritan.

Right... I have a guy who I am friends with named steve. He is a retired GM Car Hauler, and his peterbilt decided to go out on him coming into town where he lived. Fully loaded with cars and trucks. He called his son up, told him get two heavy duty chains and his 2009 Chevy Duramax 3500. They hooked both of them up and towed the truck home. I still have pictures of that day and it still remains the most talked about event in our town. Montrose MI

Barry owens, it's not just about power, it mainly depends on how well and how efficiently your able to put that power down to the ground. Traction and weight.

I mean people who talk crap about my trucks better etc usually have no clue what they are even going off about. Any diesel any brand could of done this if they had enough shared traction between both the semi and the pickup. “X brand couldn’t of pulled him out” is just pretty ignorant. It would be a more accurate comment if you had an equal line up of trucks from different brands, all 4WD, all same tires on same road conditions. If you have a custom built Ford with oversized tires, full lockers, beefed up engine etc , not a fair comparison to a stock Chevy or dodge or whatever

Why do Chevy people say that Fords suck when GM/Chevy have the most amount of recalls in the US and the F150 is the most sold pickup truck in the United States?

Actually I hate to burst your bubble, Ford has more recalls than Chev/gmc. Look up stats via Forbes most recalled Car manufacturers. Sales well that doesn't mean much. It's Marketing. Drive what u like. But I recommend it not be a ford.

+C Steele no, you are wrong, sorry to burst your bubble. go into google, and look up "which car company has the most recalls in the US" and I guarantee they will all say that GM/Chevy is number one.

Look as all the FORD this and that fans, wow such small minded sheep. Have fun paying more for that overpriced pickup series, I rather stick with my more affordable priced truck with just as much capability
