BMW 4 series or Mercedes E class coupe is basically what you mean.. Much more premium feel inside and better handling. But the Mustang is a lot of fun for not a lot of money (unless you live in Norway or Denmark)

That cup holder was obviously designed for an auto gearbox setup. Ford didn't bother with a redesign. xD

I rarely get in the back of my friends sports cars but when I do I'll only be in the back alone and I turn side ways and its very comfortable.

Nice review Matt. I own a 2016 Mustang GT and agree with your observations. Too much focus though on rear seats and luggage space. This car isn't meant to be a 4 passenger car. The back seats are there to use in a pinch for short hauls. This car is about the engine and handling and it scores in those areas.

I rented a convertible one for a week in the U.S. I still dream about it. Sure, the dashboard is tacky but the exhaust system volume is adjustable and with that soundtrack, you can forgive anything.

Mat I live in Canada where these cars are priced fairly cheap. I'm currently thinking about buying a Shelby GT350 which has a 5.2 litre engine with 527 HP. It's not cheap however you only live once. Carry on with your great work Mat. Cheers from a Canadian fan.

I have this car and I think the visibility is great, and the ride (even with my performance pack car) to be smooth and not bumpy.

I've just driven this 5.0 litre V8 convertible in Florida for a week. It is sensational, but being typical American car, it is not as refined as our German cousins & clearly the build quality is not the same. However the engine roar is sweet and performance is incredible. It really does give you a grin then you plant your foot down. It's all about emotion! For the price it's incredible value. Go for the automatic. Don't bother with the smaller engine, go for the 5.0!

This is not a 2018, the title is misleading. The 2018 has different transmissions, more HP, different dashboard, different front fascia, different rear defuser, and improved interior trim. So, renaming your 2017 video to 2018 is disingenuous as the car has had a mid cycle refresh.

James Agay in UK, if its sale in 2016, it will call 2018 mustang or 2017 mustang. If its sale in 2017, It will called 2018/2019 mustang....

Things are a little different in Britain plus it has the 2018 headlights meaning it's a 2018. Car's have different tune's over there for different government standards, therefore slightly different hp numbers. Are you just looking for an excuse to trash the dude. Turns out your dumbass is the one that is wrong.

Hi Mat, do you have any plans to review the 2016/17 Camaro? I know Chevrolet import the full fat V8 to the UK (there are 3 for sale on autotrader) and you can only get it in LHD - but I dont think I have seen a single UK review on youtube!

Yeah. The cup holders are in the right place for left wheel drive for the U S but not for right hand drive. It should have been catered for but won't stop me from owning one.

A shame it's around 50k EXTRA for the 5 litre V8 in The Netherlands...

Just a note on the quality issue: I imagine they prioritise vehicle weight over feel so the last if quality isn’t such a big issue. Could have used carbon fibre, but would’ve dramatically increased price

Cost and acceleration are pretty comparable. I love the Focus RS. I drive a standard Focus. Still, I guarantee the V8 is far more reliable. I'm still kinda torn on the subject

They are bespoke production here in the US... We barely get but a few thousand produced here every year. Unfortunately I don't think Europeans will ever get an official Shelby but for a variety of reasons not limited to emissions taxes, fuel taxes, and higher prices in lieu of good but still weaker mustang sales number than what is seen in the US. Europe loves its not hatches. Take solace in the fact that Americans companies (COUGH FORD) make scrumptious hot hatches than we muricans can't have. It's just economics unfortunately...

The 2017 Mustang comes with sync 3...the 2015 has sync 2, which means that this is a 2015...

+michael barkley I miss spoke, the 2015 has "sync 2" know as myFord touch. The 2016 has Sync 3 and the 2017 does as well but with added features such as android and apple car play. The way you can tell which is which is the "sync 2" (as I call it) or myFord touch is a black background being split into 4 smaller squares by colorful lines. The 2016+ if left in day time mode is a light blue background with white buttons and black symbols inside. With the main home screen having the nav on the left and 2 smaller boxes to the right with phone and music info.

Yup the car being shown is a 2016 model year vehicle and was reviewed/uploaded June 2016 (publish date just below the channel icon). They have renamed it twice. once to 2017 and now to 2018. Though they have forgotten to amend the description, which still says 2017.

I own a Mercedes Benz C250 petrol and I only average15 mpg from the 1.8 L turbo engine, but the Mustang does 18 mpg from a 5.0 v8 manual gear box, The moment I see what depreciation is going to do to that car I am buying it!!
