It's got a centrifugal supercharger, it's better than the traditional supercharger that the mustang has. Kinda like a halfway house between a turbo and supercharger. That said, the 6 speed in those Mustangs I've heard bad things about

We would actually love to see all the drag races times to compare between runs and see the differences

I wish we could do these races with stock vehicles. Otherwise, it’s like the race is just dependent on the quality of the tune.

@@somnath4237 Possibly, but there is also no denying that out of all of these neo-retro muscle cars of this era the Challenger is simply the heaviest. It is a porky boi. And weight does matter a lot when it comes to acceleration. I would still pick the Challenger though. God that car is gorgeous...

I have always been a camaro fan I currently own a 3d gen Z28 five speed with mods and I love it. I drove my neighbors 2010 6 speed camaro and loved the power but hated the lack of visibility and if you have a drink in the cub holder it's in the way of shifting so not a big fan of the current style. I had the privilege to get a ride in a 6sp hellcat and was very impressed. I then test drove a automatic hellcat and really loved it but the one I decided on was a 6 speed scat pack. Yes it has less power but it's all usable. With some tuning and Bolt on's it's perfect for me. I have 2 cars now that I get excited every time I go to drive and always look back at after parking. In my opinion the challenger just feels so much more solid than the camaro and mustang. the challenger just fits me better. We have to appreciate all 3 makes because competition is great for the consumers.

Yeah to them pushrod sounds like pushrod. I think dodge has a distinct exhaust note that sounds more snappy and I can't really describe it any way besides it sounds like the valves are next to my ear. That kind of roar and snap sound. The Chevy sounds real rumbling and a bit smoother. Ford has a high revving snarl.

@@dmyzio Nope. These are all modified lower trim cars that came with lower spec engines. A top trim Challenger comes with over 800 hp, Mustang 760 hp and Camaro 650 hp.

@@playcer8388 that is absolutely true. I never thought it had a chance. The main reason is that the challenger falls into a classification I call "spinners" if you think burnouts are cool and doughnuts and all that, its definitely the right car for you. It's not my intention to hate. Honestly the only thing I have against dodge is the price of the parts and the poor quality/reliability. Otherwise, they're great! There are things they did very well with the design and things they did so so poorly. I wish they had done a better job with the challenger. But if you love yours dont let anybody else's opinion or video throw you off your love. People have all kinds of hate for my car too. Every single video review they whine about how hard it is to get in and out of but not one of them are smart enough to slide the seat back so they have room.

"No rev limiters here" I'm pretty sure we'd have riots here if we started getting German rev limiters

I was wondering the same. I am thinking maybe they all had a fill of 85 octane fuel ? That will surely knobble a bunch of supercharged engines.

I’m kinda impressed with the Camaro winning on top end with every spoiler, wing and camera you could fit on it, even overcame the Mustangs tire advantage, and it’s the best sports car of the lot, GM Alpha platform chassis is world class.

I’ve noticed a trend with all the Ford Overhead Cam Modular V8s that they seem to tend to slow down the longer you run them. Idk if it’s from getting warmer or what.

What flares are on the Challenger? They’re great!

Having owned all 3 of this cars I have to say I miss my Camaro so much. It’s the most fun car I’ve owned. My current Mustang is easier to live with but doesn’t feel as special.

@@FeaRNightstorm much easier to see out of. The Camaro is like sitting inside a tank. The windows are tiny and the door sills are really high. Between the two cars you’re choosing between, I’d go 1LE all day. The Camaro has more front end grip and handles better overall. Also feels faster from a dig.

It's not fair when you put the top of the line Camaro against the lowest configuration dodge Challenger. If it was a hellcat or Shelby GT500 the Camaro would have lost most likely.

@@yusufgta4341 Ya know that's not the top of the line Camaro right? It's just a Camaro SS with a ZL1 1LE wig and a supercharger also I believe those are the 1le wheels on the Camaro not even the zl1 wheels and the top of the line Camaro has a LT4 supercharger in it that was the standard 6.2 liter V8 in it with out the LT4 they just put there own supercharger in it.

I get fanboism but since 5th gen Camaro is just so much better in everything. I'm saying it as fanboy of all 3 cars... Iv driven all of them in different specs etc and I'm gonna say that 2019 challenger red eye drives like 2011 stock Chevy camaro SS. It's that huge gap in tech and driving experience with ford since 2016 i think is much closer to Camaro but honestly after experiencing them all i can't believe anyone would pick something other then Camaro and don't even get me started on ZL1 models or 2015 z/28 as they completely demolish competition.

@@stanvanillo9831 you do realize it will run a low 11 no problem on the strip or with better/warmed tires & they aren't showing trap speed either... Car wow has always had a hard time drag racing high hp rwd cars , use your head a stock ss on a strip can run a 12.2..

I'm adding this to another reason why I love camaros, this cam really gave false hope and stole the glory while sounding gorgeous at the same time

I’d like to see the dyno sheets on these cars. The camaro probably makes more power throughout the rev range and the mustang just has a higher peak power

Or they just lied about the 750hp, which is the case. It lost to a stock M4. No way it’s 750hp. It’s got a Kenne bell blower. The regular KB kit is 624hp. I bet they thought that was rwhp, and that would be about 750hp.

Quite simple. The Chevy is an 8 speed vs a 6 speed for Ford. 8 speed makes it so when the car shifts it stays in its power band better.
