Out of the magnaflow the miltek and the powerflow. The powerflow wins hand down without trying

I'm a great admirer of the Mk3 Mondeo and could only have 2 criticisms of it: 1 - Road noise was higher than I'd like 2 - Brake pedal needed quite a stern shove to slow quickly. However, I can honestly say that the steering feel is better than a 530i E60 & E39 M5.

Rusu Ovidiu I don't own a Mk3 Mondeo and never had, I got to borrow a friend's some years ago. Overall, an excellent car. I'd love to have storage to put a few Mondeos there... and a Puma, Mk1 Focus RS maybe.

I like the Mk3 Mondeos (CD 132 ?) I'd have one in my collection, if I had a collection ! The X-Type has the same bottom end but that got better inlet manifolds, I think.

how much did your remap an exhaust cost? is it any quicker 0-60 or top end?

hey, great sound! just got myself an st220, all stock. looking for an exhaust upgrade... how much was the instal? and what does removing the cats mean for an MOT?

Azeem R, You mention STtuners who tuned your car, though I've done a search and found loads of companies saying they're ST Tuners, though no specific company who is actually called STtuners, so who is the tuning company you used..!

What did you do to get 262 bhp?!

did STtuuners remove the cats for you? if not is it easy to do?

Yeah but that was in 2013, the laws changed since then...! On a different note the Powerflow Exhausts don't get good reviews on the Talkford forum, people say PF don't do any R&D against the cars they fit their exhaust to, so you don't know if it will improve performance or not and we're better off with exhaust companies that do, like Milltek, JP & Magnaflow, also the 268bhp is very questionable as the ST220 V6 is very limited to what extra BHP you can squeeze out of it, usually about 12 to 14bhp at best..! Though the sound this exhaust make on the ST220 is another story, as it sounds wicked...!

OK, so it's loud. But can you drive it like it should be driven? :)

Doesn't exist anymore according the government system, what happened to this old beast?

Probably jaguar vvti heads and that from the x type 3.0

268 hp my ass.. those Cars make 230 at most with Bolt ons

I had a rolling road done on mine today, had car 17 months it had k&n cone and powerflow backbox when i bought it. It has 138,000 miles on clock and engine made 235hp. So imagine if I had remap and full exchaust plus better breathing
