UPDATE. For automatic car with push button start. Press start button for accessories position. Immediately after press both pedals. Keep pedals down for upto 30 seconds until reset is complete. Then press ok. Done. Do not hold pedals before start button as engine will start and rev up.

I’ve a. 09 2lt diesel and put oil in as this come. Up put oil and still come up just watched ur. Video and went out and did and ohhh my god. Wow. Thank u. So helpful for. Me as no nothing bout. That side of cars lol

That's brilliant, I changed the oil and filter and seeing that annoyed me glad I can get rid of it now 👍

This also works on the Transit, Focus, Fiesta, and Escape at least in the US.

Noice... I don't have a start button and its automatic, but same approach, press both pedals, but the key ignition into ON state and basically just like the video above 🙂

This does not work on Mondeo sold in Australia. It seems to be same, except speedo not in MPH. Kept foot on both pedals for 30 seconds, but display does not change at all. And oil service warning returns next time you start engine.

I’ve recently tried to do this but but just comes up with press clutch to start no on screen

No it dose not work. Mine starts and then revs up to max rpm if pedals not released.

@@bodgitandleggitgarage . A bit like mine Matey. Anyway, that was an informative video. When the Customer has a Display Issue with their car, It's a major problem for them. When you post the solution to the issue on your Channel it's a Godsend. Even after 51 years in the motor trade (yes, I know that nobody is that old), I learn lots of 'techy stuff, thanks to your postings. Keep up the good work. Respects !
