Great video, and thanks for putting this together. I am in precisely the same position - power has gone to the unit, old and new, fuse appears to have blown. I've checked as many relevant fuses as I can, checked schematics etc, but I can't locate the damaged one. May I ask which fuse you changed to rectify the problem?

Mine went too. Check in the fuse box that's underneath the glove box. It's the 6th one down on the right hand side, 15amp (blue). I changed mine but it still doesn't work, so I guess it's back to Amazon for the second time... :(

I will be waiting for next video about it's features. :) How do you rate the sound of it? it's the same or worse than classic radio? What about radio stations name - are they showing or just numbers like 100.90 and so on...? The clima when you change it under radio is also showing on it? Can you change radio stations and volume with levers at the steering wheel? What about microphone when you are on handsfree?

Hey Milan, i have the same unit too. So far it's okay for the price. Sound seems fine, works with aftermarket reversing sensors and camera. The fm is kinda crap, but that just might be my car. You only see the numbers but after tuning in to the channel it shows the name. The steering wheel controls and climate controll works too, after you select the correct protocol for it. Only remark is the interface. Not that great looking and can be a bit confusing to navigate around. Ohh yeah. If there is abuilt in mic, then its crap - not even sure it has one, andyou cannot hook up an external one according to the seller on amazon.

To also add here reversing camera and maybe also aftermarket sensor because mine works when they wanted to :D So 90% they don't work :D What about the microphone - are you also using handsfree? I read about the microphone that you have to connect external but... that's the one thing that I don't wanted to. :D

@@FishmanX13 hey Milan, well truth be told, from where I bought it mine (amazon.de) the seller said in the description that you cannot connect external mic for it. A few times I tried to have phone calls through the head unit but the sound was not workimg for me. I could hear everything perfectly but nothing went out so idk. As for reverse camera and sensor. They should in the accessories give you a connection plug with a standard video output ( the yellow plug ) with which for me works perfectly. It needs some cabeling around the car though. I bougjt this camera parking sensor license plate frame and works like a charm. It was from a company called "lescars" or something lkke that. If you send me an email I can give you some pics amd links if you want.

Did you solve your steering buttons?

Friend of mine installed one of these in VW Transporter T5 but it kept overheating on Hight volume and eventually failed. Good idea but not a good quality

I installed a similar one in my S Max. It's great but the reversing sensors stopped beeping as I think it's routed through the speakers and the FM signal is awful. However I just listen to internet radio so it's all good.

Same here. My sensors stop beeping because the rear camera view pops up on the screen. Have you fixed this?

got this radio in my S-max Wa6 2011- not a bad device, i like the Sygic Navi App - its offline and the GPS works good- BUT! if you want to listen FM Radio - DO NOT BUY IT - its a pain in the A... - you drive 100m and the signal is gone. its crap. i'll change the device this week.

I installed my unit yesterday and it all works OK but I've lost the ability to send/ receive calls over the unit. It connects to my phone via bluetooth but seems to constantly drop out and reconnect! Any ideas would be appreciated as I have connected everything at the back of the unit but the "mic" lead looks like it needs a connector to the car/ external microphone - any help on this would be good please.

Installing mine but I lost the parking sensors sound completely!any idea please?

I did the same install - buttons on steering wheel works, but you have to go through the settings and takes a little bit of time to set up..... Great unit for the price!

Yep it works after some fiddling, make sure the small power connector for the can decoder is disconnected, but there is a small connector with ( i think) a purple and some other cable connected to the unit. After that you go to factory setting -> pin 8888 i think -> protocol -> find your can decoder type, then car and save. It should come alive.

@@Zd3nda yeah, make sure you plug in everything properly. There are some connectors that go from the canbus box to the car (not directly into the radio)
